“Saving All My Love For You” 💛🦢✨

💿 This track was written by Michael Masser and Gerry Goffin; and was originally recorded by Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr in 1978. The legendary Whitney Houston’s version hit The Billboard 100 at No.1 in 1985 and has been a classic ever since.

✨My favorite live version of this song is from Whitney’s Feel So Right Japan Tour (1990) by @saraimiracle

“At Your Best” 🦢🌹✨♥️

I hope you all had a beautiful valentine’s day, and a wonderful weekend of love. This is dedicated to all of the special someone’s and their special someone’s. Oh! And don’t forget to give yourself some love too! In this climate, I think we all need a bit of love and positivity to balance a bit better🫂✨

💿 : “At Your Best” is a song by one of my favorite Rnb groups, The Isley Brothers @theisleybrothers . This song was originally recorded in 1975 and then released in 1976. This song was later re-recorded by the late great, Aaliyah in 1994. My favorite lyric in this song is “You’re a positive motivating force within my life.” This song has been classified as a vintage soul ballad in the Rnb/quiet storm genre.

💿”Could Heaven Ever Be Like This” by Idris Muhammad was released in 1977. The song was written by Tony Sarafino & David Matthews then produced by Creed Taylor & David Matthews. My favorite lyrics from this song is “I feel music in your eyes” 👀 and “a miracle exists” (because of my name😉) by @saraimiracle

Keep Your Head To The Sky 💫🌤️🙏🏾🩶

While I find myself habitually tormented with how worrisome the world is becoming, I am reminded that historically artists, black artists in particular have persevered through the darkest times through their creativity. I am praying deeply for those affected by recent tragedies, specifically in my home city, Philly🫶🏾 and I hope you all find ways to bring peace to yourselves 🩶🩶🩶 This song is one of many that I listen to as a mantra, and it was created by one of my favorite bands of all time #earthwindandfire ✨ Happy Black History Month 🫶🏾🫶🏾

💿Keep Your Head To The Sky” was released in 1973. This track has been described as luscious, luminous and hauntingly pretty ✨ by @saraimiracle

LOVE HANGOVER 🩶🩶🩶

(Whew chile, we made it through another week! 🙏🏾 A lot is happening around us at all times and I have been feeling like I want to sing things that bring me joy to balance this chaos 😩😩)

This song was originally recorded by 5th Dimension and then re-released under Motown as a single for the illustrious, Diana Ross. This B-side song reached number one in 1976 and it’s one I come back to often 🩶🩶🩶
