my first summer being on EXEC. WOW.

now that i have had time to reflect. it has been such an honor being at the place that brings me the most joy.. @camp_fuego !!

this summer has truly been such a blessing.
i have gotten to witness so many things from a different perspective. but man, has it been incredible. the difference, though. it isn’t about knowledge, it’s about obedience. it’s about trusting what the Lord has already done.

my life has changed for better. all because FIVE summers ago, i said “yes” to the Lord.

i am not one to get on here and really make posts, but the Lord has been SO good, i will not miss an opportunity to share what He puts on my heart. through Him alone, I am Made for More!

the other day when i was honestly going through the emotions of life, i sat back and let God just speak to me. one of the ways i feel the presence of the Lord the most, is through worship. well, a couple minutes ago, i was praying and just talking to the Lord asking Him all the “why” questions a girl could ask (He knows, even when i don’t). I sat back and just reflected on all of His Goodness He has given me, time after time. through the heartbreak, through the trials, through the learning, through the “why’s”, and through so more.. this specific song had played while i was in my time with Him… so i videoed just a part of it.

eight weeks.
eight weeks, is how long i spent with @camp_fuego this summer.

if you were to ask me: “what is one word you would use to describe your summer?”
my response would be this: “beautiful.”

being in full surrender of my future, or anything outside of where my feet were at in that moment. i got to see the capacity of beauty of what the Lord is truly capable of!!

i got to fully be intentional, with the Lord, with my fellow staffers, and with my campers. i got to hear some of the most powerful testimonies, i got to witness this next generation have Christ be the center of everything, i got to hear every single person in the room lift up their praises to our King, i got to serve along side some pretty darn amazing people who are now home to me, and i got to learn how to rest in the now.

to everyone i got the privilege of either meeting for the first time, or being with again: thank you from the bottom of my heart, for making this summer special. you are each my blessings. i wouldn’t trade it for the world!

as camp fuego ‘24 has come to an end, i got to just sit still and reflect how my summer looked. let me just tell you, pictures will never truly do it actual justice to show how much i love this place. the last two weeks were truly the best, i don’t think i would go back and change a single thing.

if you were to ask me “What is your favorite attribute of God?” i would tell you He is steadfast, loving, kind, joyful, forgiving, gracious, and humble. the Lord has made all of these so abundantly clear that He is a God of all of these qualities. its part of our purpose to make these known to others!

there are moments in our lifetime that we get to sit back and just be in awe of the joy & the works of the Lord. the past 3 weeks have been one of those moments. @camp_fuego has been such a testament in my life & forever will be. in these three weeks, i have seen the Lord move so abundantly in lives it is such a breathtaking thing to be a witness of. thank you, Jesus for giving me the opportunity to be a vessel and a servant for you. the joy that you give me each time i am here is so unimaginable. i cannot wait for these last 2 weeks to see what you have in store.💐✨🪩🤟🏼🎀🤸🏻‍♀️❤️‍🔥 taken in Acadian Baptist Center by @saramichellewhitt
