any time this year when i’ve been asked if i’m ready to graduate, i’ve answered “absolutely, i can’t wait!” but as we’ve gotten closer and closer, i’ve realized that i definitely am not. i’m going to miss the silly memories on all the band trips and in rehearsals, all of the teachers i’ve had the privilege of learning from, the conversations filled with laughter at the lunch table i’ve sat at for most of high school. but most of all, i’m going to miss all of the lifelong friendships i’ve made that i know i’ll always consider family. although it’s hard knowing that i’m missing a piece of my family that left too early before i could graduate, i know that void is being filled by the people i’ve grown so close to from the past 13 years. thank you to everyone i’ve had the opportunity to know from my time at owasso, even if it was just a minor conversation, because you’ve had a major impact on my life 🫶🏻 by @sararackers
