Heading into 40 like🤰

Last year, I literally told anyone that would listen/asking if we wanted kids, that hell to the no — the last thing I want to be is 40 and pregnant.

And here we are 🤪 Funny how much your heart and your head can change in just a year. We couldn’t be more excited and grateful for this little miracle! God’s plans are always far greater than our own.

PS - I love you beyond words @matttipp1 and I can’t wait to become “mom & dad” together 🤍

May 19, 2025 🩵 the day our lives changed forever.

First off, let me say that we were shocked as hell! I had taken two tests the week before and both were negative. After a week went by, my period never came and I realized I wasn’t having my normal pre-P symptoms. So I stopped by Walgreens on my way home from work to test again.

I took my sweet time when I got home, finally peed on the stick and walked away not thinking anything of it because I was so sure I wasn’t pregnant!

An hour later I walked back in the bathroom to put on some lotion, having completely forgotten about the test, and when I looked at it and saw the word “Pregnant”, I literally screamed out loud!

I ran downstairs to Matt with it in my hand and we both were laughing and in complete disbelief! He kept saying “you’re joking” over and over and over haha 😅 the pure shock, excitement, and the holy shit this is happening feelings will forever be etched into my memory from that day.

After the shock wore off, we wanted to double check, so I took that second test and it popped up pregnant real quick!

I couldn’t believe I was pregnant and that it actually worked for us! We were trying to conceive, but I truly didn’t think it would happen for us right away. I assumed it would take us a few months, maybe more, and maybe never, to get pregnant.

We were open to the idea of having a baby, but also open to the reality that having a child might not be in the cards for us. And we definitely didn’t expect to conceive our first month of intentionally trying.

But God knew the true desires of our hearts and listened to all my prayers & worries, and as always, showed us that He is so good and faithful!

And here we are one year later, and this sweet boy is the light of our lives and is the center of our universe! Mason Paul, you are our everything and we love you beyond measure! 🩵

Our son is here and he’s absolutely perfect 🤍🩵

Mason Paul Tippery arrived at 1:02 pm on Thursday, January 22nd, weighing 7 pounds 12 ounces and 20 inches long.

We are obsessed and think he’s quite possibly the greatest thing ever! He’s the sweetest, happiest, chillest baby and we adore him endlessly.

We are loving our newborn bubble and soaking up every second with our sweet boy. And the dogs have been so sweet and gentle with him! Especially Marthy - that’s her baby too 😭🥹

My heart and soul are bursting with so much happiness, gratitude, and love.

I’m a mom. I don’t think it’s really sunk in yet that this is my life. Everything I’ve ever prayed for and so much more is right here in my home.

God is so good, and I will shout it from the rooftops that His plan is far greater and more glorious than ours could ever be!

Also, thank you to amazing IG family and this community of wonderful women for all your prayers, love, and sweet messages sent to us along this journey! Mason has the greatest group of IG Aunties! 🩷
