Lightning — 1.
Kraken — 0.

The trade-off for getting to play lacrosse in Florida? Late-summer storms like to keep us humble!

Lightning protocol exists for a reason. Kids safe, everyone accounted for, and the Kraken crew hunkered down inside while the storm rolled through.

Big thank you to Community Day School for giving us a safe place to wait it out.

Pennies delivered. Numbers claimed. Team together. Actual lacrosse? We’ll try that part again Tuesday. Same time. Same place. Let’s get Kraken. taken in Sarasota, Florida by @sarasotakraken

“Great moments are born from great opportunity.” -Miracle. Because here’s the deal - one day, they’ll forget the scores. But they’ll never forget who played beside them. And none of this happens by accident. We’re here to grow the game, create opportunities for these kids, and build a community where everyone feels like they belong. That’s what this is all about.

Grateful for every team we get to share the field with, every family who shows up, and every opportunity to keep building something special right here in Sarasota.

WE ARE KRAKEN. Back at it Tuesday! 🦑

Tonight was one of those nights where you just look around and realize this is so much bigger than lacrosse. The parents walking the fields, the laughs on the fields, the conversations, the tournament hotel planning, the fundraising, and the people who continue to show up and pour so much into these kids.

THIS is what it’s all about. We’re building more than a lacrosse club. We’re building a community. One where families show up for each other, parents get involved, friendships are made, and our kids get to be part of something pretty special.🐙

And the best part? It’s happening right here in Sarasota. We are so incredibly lucky to have this KRAKEN KREW. The support, the energy, the people. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Proud of what we’re building, Kraken. And we’re just getting started! 🐙 taken in Sarasota, Florida by @sarasotakraken

SWIPE ➡️ and drop your guesses below.

Who’s who?! And more importantly… WHO had the best glow-up?! 🐙

Happy belated National Coaches Day to the men and women who show up, pour into our players, and make the Kraken what it is.

REC IS WHERE IT ALL BEGAN. 🐙🥍 And no matter where this game takes you, this is the place you come back to.

Rec is the foundation. Your home base. Your people. The kids you learn the game with, grow up with, compete beside - and one day, walk onto a high school field with.

Want more lacrosse? There’s always more. More training. More tournaments. More competition. More opportunities to push yourself.

But Rec is the heartbeat. 🖤 It’s where new players become lacrosse players. Where friendships become teammates. Where a community becomes a program.

Play more. Train more. Chase whatever you want from this game. But come home to Rec.

Because these are your people. This is your community. This is where we grow the game - together.

Never forget where you came from. Go KRAKEN.🐙🥍 taken in Sarasota, Florida by @sarasotakraken

🎄🐙 KRAKEN HOLIDAY FUNDRAISER IS LIVE! Holiday wreaths + growing the game. We’re in. 🥍

We’ve partnered with Sherwood Forest Farms @sherwoodforestfarms for our holiday fundraiser, and our goal is $7,000 to pour right back into our Kraken players + program.

With 70 players, we’re challenging every Kraken player to sell 5! Send the link to grandparents, neighbors, friends, coworkers — anyone who needs a little holiday cheer. 🎄

Your support helps cover the REAL costs of running Kraken — fields + lights, equipment, lacrosse balls, referees, PlayMetrics, coach stipends, stipends for our high school athletes who give back, our end-of-season celebration + trophies, and even helping sponsor a player for spring.

And ordering is EASY:

🎄 LOCAL PICKUP — greens arrive just after Thanksgiving for Kraken distribution in Sarasota. ( @scorchsrq )
📦 DIRECT SHIP — choose a Direct Delivery item and Sherwood Forest Farms ships it straight to their door.

ORDER DEADLINE: NOVEMBER 8

🔗 SHOP NOW — LINK IN BIO

We’re building this for the kids, and we’re incredibly grateful for every family helping us do it.

Support local. Grow the game. 🐙🥍🎄 taken in Sarasota, Florida by @sarasotakraken
