Classically Trained Constipation. by @sarawithacee

Been waiting a long time to share this one. Please welcome MAYA, a tiny but might character in the brilliant and original @grinding.tv Had the honor of working with this fabulous team on such a cool and special project last summer. When I first read the breakdown I thought “so Cindy Lauper meets Annie Potts in Pretty In Pink with a splash of Fran Drescher”. At long last a first sneak peek. Hopefully, so much more to come. In the meantime, #KEEPGRINDING by @sarawithacee

There is no way to write this post without feeling like I’m pitching a pyramid scheme but I swear I’m not trying to peddle you any skin creams, but rather my DREAMS! Specifically of being a creatively satiated and financially stable actor and what I have done to further that the past 6 months. Since COVID, most of us in the performing arts have endured the hell and tyranny of the “self tape” audition. No more in the room, even for theatre auditions, and while yes there are some in person, it’s almost extinct. These self tapes lead you to becoming a one person cast and crew with the acting seeming to come far after, “f*ck, where is my eyeline again” and a time suck that most of us working actors do not have on top of our survival jobs. (Never mind family, love life, friends, laundry?????!!) this past March the effervescent and hilarious @lindsay.brill told me about an idea and now we actually have an app in beta waiting to be approved by the Apple 🍎 store as we speak!!! Last week I filmed a fantastic SAG student film that I booked through @actorsaccess USING OUR APP @andscene.app What normally would take me 3-4 hours I did in 45 minutes and I got the job!!! Yes, I was right for the role but I also was gifted the ability to simply focus on my performance and my app did almost everything else but hit the submit button. Yes, we are looking for investors, but also, test users (over 150 so far), social media partnerships and to grow our team as more funding comes in! Please reach out if you’re interested, or would like to know more. Everything right now is currently free 99 and the time you get back is invaluable. Always remember in the words of the esteemed April Ludgate, “time is money, money is power, power is pizza” 🍕 🎦💰🎭💪 by @sarawithacee

The key to being an adult is to never stop being a kid. But like, with money for boats. Boats, also, cool part of adulthood. Boats and my inner child. And a stable income. And a therapist. And picking out what snacks to get at the grocery store. Haha, I can get any snack I want!! Hahaha take that, DAD. by @sarawithacee

As you can see, it’s very hard for me to accept attention. I know it’s my birthday, but please, PLEASE try to respect my privacy at this time. by @sarawithacee
