My painting is part of the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale — a landmark international exhibition uniting artists from nearly 120 countries under the theme Coexistence.
Honoured to share my work on a global stage where contemporary art, cultural dialogue, and collecting intersect.

Art transcends language. It can even inspire a dance in the middle of an exhibition.

My painting “Everything I Want” is currently exhibited at the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale. This wonderful dancer, @五道口宋佳, saw it there and was so moved that she created this beautiful, improvised piece right on the spot.

I discovered this moment online, and she kindly allowed me to share it. To see someone connect so deeply with your work, to the point of letting it move their body—it touches the soul. This is the purest form of artistic dialogue.

Everything I Want — now on view at the X Beijing International Art Biennale.

I am deeply honored to share that my painting Everything I Want has been selected and is currently exhibited at the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale, held at the Beijing Exhibition Center in Beijing, China — one of the world’s most significant platforms for contemporary art.

This edition of the Biennale, themed “Coexistence”, explores peace, shared existence, ecological harmony, and the connections that bring humanity together — ideas that deeply resonate with my artistic intentions.

I am especially honored to represent Portugal as the only Portuguese artist in this global exhibition, sharing space with creators from around the world. Seeing my work take its place in this extraordinary context — captured here through Red Note’s social media — is both humbling and unforgettable.

Everything I Want reflects on desire, resilience, collective aspiration, and what it means to coexist in an ever-changing world. I’m grateful to the curators, organizers, and everyone who supports this journey.

A Dream Come True at the Beijing Biennale

Still over the moon! 🌙 My artwork was featured in a video report from the 10th Beijing International Art Biennale's opening—one of the world's most significant art events.

It's an incredible feeling to see your work recognized on such an international stage, speaking the universal language of art. This journey from Portugal to Beijing is one I'll never forget.

📹 A huge thank you to @或掌柜 on Rednote (Xiaohongshu) for the wonderful coverage and for kindly allowing me to share it with you all. The video has been translated for international friends.

My painting traveled farther than I ever imagined — all the way to the X Beijing Biennale.
I found this image in one of the few videos from the exhibition, and it moved me deeply.
This is my second participation in the Biennale — an honor to stand again among artists from around the world, carrying a little piece of Portugal with me.
Art connects us beyond borders — and that is the true gift.

🔴 Private Collection - Whispers of the Unknown (2024). The vibrant energy, embodying the chaos and beauty of perception beyond the ordinary. Each color in a symphony of movement symbolizes the ever-changing tapestry of emotions and thoughts. Reeds swaying in a hidden grove, inviting to lose themselves in the fluid rhythm. This work from the Outside Perception Series challenges us to see beyond form and structure, embracing the interconnectedness of nature, emotion, and human imagination.
