Silence is costing the Kingdom

I see women everywhere ...in their careers, their marriages, their health, even their faith.

Overperforming, overachieving, and still feeling empty.

This isn’t just burnout.

It’s bondage.

That’s why I speak.

To call out the lies of the enemy and point women back to the finished work of Christ.

🎤 Invite me to share this message with your women ...at your church, retreat, or podcast.

They’re ready for truth that sets them free. by @saredoty

2:13am. Wide awake. Again.

Your brain picks the worst possible hour to start the list.

The bill. The kid. The weird thing you said in a meeting in 2019.

Phone brightness on the lowest setting and doing math on how many hours until your alarm goes off.

Jesus said these words the night before the cross. To a room full of friends who were about to watch everything fall apart.

He knew exactly what the next 24 hours held. And He still gave them peace.

His peace. The kind that doesn't wait for answers or for anything to get fixed first.

So try this tonight.... Make John 14:27 your lock screen.

If you're going to grab your phone at 2am anyway, let the first thing you see be what He said. by @saredoty

Sea in front. Army behind.

Someone said something that stung.
The email needs an answer by end of day.
The comment at Sunday lunch is still bothering you three hours later.

And every part of you wants to respond. Right now.
Explain it, defend it, fix it before it gets worse.

The Israelites knew that feeling. Pharaoh's army closing in behind them. The Red Sea in front. Nowhere to go.

They panicked, and honestly... Fair.

And the word that came through Moses was the last thing anyone wanted to hear.

Be still. The Lord will fight for you.

That same night, He split a sea.

Waiting can feel like losing. Like the moment is slipping away while you sit there doing nothing.

Sometimes the thing He wants is to let Him move first.

So much more on this soon. I mean it. by @saredoty

Waiting used to wreck me.

You'll be okay once they text back.
Once the offer comes through.
Once the results are in.
Once that conversation finally happens.

So you hold your breath. For days. Sometimes for months.

That was me for years. I'd promise myself I'd rest when it was settled. Then something NEW would show up that needed settling.

Here's what my days look like now.

The text comes when it comes. My phone stays in the other room through dinner. I finish my coffee while it's still hot.

Some of the big things are still unresolved. And I sleep anyway.

Philippians 4:7 talks about a peace that goes beyond understanding. I used to think that meant a feeling I'd get once everything made sense. Now I think it's the peace that shows up when nothing makes sense yet, and holds anyway.

If you're the woman who can't exhale until every loose end is tied, nothing is wrong with you. You're just tired.

But God has been offering you rest this whole time.

I'll be talking about this a lot more. You'll want to be here for it. by @saredoty

You are not meant to be
this accessible to everyone
all the time.

The exhaustion isn’t a character flaw.

It’s what happens when a brain
designed for rhythms of solitude
never gets them.

Jesus showed us the pattern.
We can learn from this.

Worry FEELS like doing something.

You can't fix it tonight. You know that.

And yet here you are, turning it over again.
The diagnosis.
The kid who stopped calling.
The job that might not be there in January.
The thing someone said that you still can't stop hearing.

Nothing about it changes when you think about it, but you think about it anyway.

I used to believe worry was a way of loving people well.
If I was carrying it, at least I was doing something.

Turns out I was just tired. And God was still holding the whole thing the entire time.

The enemy would love for you to spend your one life white-knuckling what was never in your hands to begin with.

God is asking for something much simpler. Rest in Him. Trust Him. He is working it out for your good, even on the days you can't see it.

Try this tonight. Say it out loud, even if it feels silly:

"I don't have to hold what God is already holding."

Then go to bed.

There's more on this coming, follow along. by @saredoty

Your thumbs are flying. 👇

It's 10:48pm. The text is four paragraphs long.

You've explained. Then re-explained.

Then added "I'm not even upset, I just want you to understand" which, let's be honest, is proof you're upset.

You deleted a sentence. Added it back. Read the whole thing in their voice to see how it sounds.

And the silence on the other end of that conversation feels unbearable.

I used to send those. Fast. Before I could talk myself out of it.

Some of them I'm grateful for. A lot of them I'd take back if I could.

So, one minute. Phone face down. That's it.

Then pick it back up and see what you still want to say.

Been thinking about this one a lot.

Let me know if there's a text sitting in your notes right now. by @saredoty

Tight chest ≠ God's no ⬇️

You've prayed about it. Journaled about it. Asked friends, then asked them again with a slightly angle in case the answer changed.

It didn't. Your chest is still tight.

So you've landed on the only explanation that makes sense. God must be saying no.

And honestly, that feels almost obedient. At least a NO means somebody's steering.

But babe... what if the tightness isn't an answer at all?

What if it's the same feeling you had before the last big yes? And the one before that? The ones that turned out fine.

I lived there for years.
Calling it wisdom.
Calling it discernment.
Calling it "I just have a check in my spirit."

Some of it was. A lot of it was just me... scared.

I've been sitting with this topic a lot lately.
More coming soon. by @saredoty

You are not being punished. You are being trained.

If discipline has always felt like proof you are not enough, that is worldly discipline talking, not God.

His discipline is not built on your willpower. It is built on a love you already have, whether you perform or not.

Which one have you been operating from? by @saredoty
