Mystery of the Flower won "Best of the Festival" #award at the Rochester International Film Festival.

This award is for my dear uncle, Saad Saadi — an extraordinary poet, thinker, and human being. After years of being overlooked, his incredible vision is finally starting to be seen by the world.

The film was selected alongside 31 powerful international films at #RIFF in New York this past May. I’m deeply grateful to the festival, the audience, and everyone who has supported this journey.

A night to remember. Very grateful to everyone who decided to share their evening with us for the Damascus premiere of Mystery of the Flower 🌹

Sharing the film to the audience for the first time in the temple of art, the movie theater, is the greatest honor any film director aspires to get.

Thanks for my amazing cast and crew who made this film possible, and for my family who joined me in this unforgettable day in Damascus.

My uncle’s legacy lives on, and his imagination continues to inspire the minds. Saad Saadi 🙏

My documentary film "The Last Plight" was officially selected for the 15th Kurdish Film Festival in #Berlin — 🎥

Screened on October 27th alongside many powerful films, The Last Plight continues to amplify the voices of Iraq’s indigenous #Assyrian and Yazidi people during the 2014 ISIS invasion.

It’s now available on the festival’s platform as part of their subscription package until Dec 31st 2025.

🏆 Previously won 2 awards.

Thrilled to share that Mystery of the Flower has been officially selected for the 20th edition of the Rocket City Short Film Festival in Alabama! 🌸🎬

A story made with love, heart, and in memory of my late uncle, Saad Saadi. To see it continue its journey and reach new audiences is truly humbling.

The film will screen and compete alongside an amazing lineup of short films on October 24–25.
