a few months ago when I was driving to work this song started playing & as I listened to the lyrics, I was thinking about God & His love for me.. thinking of all the things I have because of Him.

then my thoughts quickly shifted & I started hysterically crying LOL. I started thinking of the next best thing to His love. a love I could feel while here on earth that would let me feel closer to Him.. the love of a parent. my parents 🤍

as i get older i realize more & more how amazing my parents are. i look at all the little and big things they do differently. I appreciate our visits more, our phone calls, our holidays, our arguments, our camping trips & our weekly Sunday dinners. they put so much effort in to us kids & our spouses & i am always inspired by how they show their love. i sometimes can’t believe that they are mine & that I’ve gotten to grow up & go through every major life event with them.

I know that i am who i am today because of Gods love for me & because of my mom & dads love for me. though not perfect, their marriage & the way they worked together to raise me & my siblings will bless me & my future families life forever.

i owe e v e r y t h i n g to God + the two of them. & now every time this song comes on i ugly cry in the car thinking of how blessed i am 😂

happy 35th anniversary mom & dad, thank you for making us eternal 🫶🏾 by @sariah.tahi
