That’s a wrap on the 2025 CX season!

Huge thank you to @nathancharron for introducing me to this wild sport, and to @cycleryottawa for putting on an amazing EOCX series.
I had so much fun this year — racing on grass, mud, and even snow. I even made the trip to Lévis for Nationals… what an experience! I loved all of it: the falls, the slips, the run-ups, the mechanicals, the multiple chain drops, and the hard comebacks. Every moment made it better.
Grateful for the friendships, the community, and the amazing team at @passionproject.cc

And thank you for capturing the memories:

Pre-race fuel, local edition.

Laeti & Sari’s favourite pre-race breakfast always includes the famous Khorasan bread from Maison ODDO. And honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Then there’s the tartelette au citron… and if you know, you know: the escargot à l’érable is an absolute must-try. Mmmmm.

Maison ODDO is just 1 km from the entrance to Gatineau Park, so whether you’re heading out for a ride, a training day or just looking for a seriously good bakery, it’s well worth the detour.

And one more important piece of cycling knowledge: a baguette fits perfectly in the back pocket of a jersey. We’ve tested it.

Huge thanks to Maison ODDO for supporting Passion Project CC and keeping us well fueled.

Big Red Gravel 2026 Recap.

Strawberry milkshake Pop tarts 🍓

Best ride fuel. Plus if you keep it in your jersey pocket long enough at 30C in the desert 🏜️ they start to melt 👌🏼
