A week ago today my family and I had to make the hardest decision to go to the vet and walk out without taking Vinny back home. Vinny was never just a dog, he had healed everyone that was close to him. He had helped me though losing many loved ones, breakups, even my assignments. I could always rely on Vinny to always cheer me up with whatever it was that I was going through. He’s laid next to me through every sleepless night which then I would eventually fall asleep with him cuddling me or on top of me while hogging the whole bed. I’ll forever miss his zoomies when he would legit jump on me to the point where I couldn’t breathe or the sound of him scratching at my door to let him in, when he would lay right on top of the washing that I was just about to fold, him watching my every move while making food and being there to catch whatever food I “accidentally” dropped or even when I would do my makeup and somehow his hair has stuck on my face and just seeing in the mirror that he was behind me and me taking 100 years to get ready because I would always be distracted by him and have to get many many cuddles from him. I’ll miss coming home and seeing his little head pop out of the blinds and him jumping on me the minute I take one foot in the door. I’ll miss all the cute little outfits he would wear. I’ll miss sitting in Vinny’s bed while he’s taking up all the room on the couch (to be fair his bed was comfier than mine). I’ll miss the way he loved watching dinosaurs on the tv or how protective he gets when he meets someone for the first time. I can’t thank Vinny enough for all the happiness and love that he has brought. The house doesn’t feel the same without you. I love and miss you so incredibly much my little bean 🤍🕊️ by @sarinalilyy
