Our parents; their generation didn’t have that, often times didn’t / don’t recognise anxiety or depression, just kept going …

Hindsight is such a cruel cruel thing, why don’t we see / love/ be / forgive / love, love and love …

Indeed I believe it would have made a difference …

There are so many facets of Grief; individual / collective / generational / inter-generational / ancestral,
A Major loss can hit so hard that it can bring up so much other past deep rooted unprocessed grief in the body, grief can does cause profound pain / sadness / fear/ anger/ make you feel de-sablised and so much more…
What I’m learning is we’re not meant to suppress, but we learn to live with the grief and learn to grow around it.

With major huge grief I don’t believe the wound is ever healed yet I think we’re meant to evolve with it, finding meaning where there seems to be none.

We don’t have to be afraid of our pain, … we just have to decide ..and often times get the right help / modalities to know what we’re going to do with it.

Grief is never ever easy .. it changes and transforms us forever, I guess it’s up to us how and in what form that transformation takes place.
“Wounds are the ruptures in the fabric of reality” they wake us up, trauma is when we stay too long in the shock patterns, … you’ve been shocked, now transform and evolve from this. The process of Grieving truly is a soul retrieval

🙏🏼❤️

Maha Shivaratri; literally translated as ‘Great night of Shiva’, holds great spiritual significance in Indian culture and traditions. The lunar aspect of Maha Shivaratri is significant because the festival falls on the 14th night of the dark fortnight in the Hindu month of Phalguna, which is a night when the moon is a crescent or in its waning phase.
Maha Shivaratri is based on the lunar calendar, holds special spiritual significance. The dark night of Shivaratri is considered particularly auspicious for worship, meditation, and prayer, as the energies of Shiva are said to be closest to the earth.

Here are some aspects of the spiritual significance and power of Maha Shivaratri:

1. Honoring Lord Shiva: observing fasts, chanting Shiv Mantra, bhanjans, coming together in community to meditate, raise vibration and benefit from the Divine frequency of this night

2. Removal of Ignorance and Negativity: helps in purifying the mind, body, and soul. It is a time to let go of negative emotions, thoughts, and habits, and to seek spiritual growth and enlightenment.

3. Celebrating Marriage of Shiva and Parvati: Maha Shivaratri is also considered the night when Lord Shiva performed the cosmic dance of creation, preservation, and destruction, the Tandav. It is believed to be the night when Shiva and Parvati got married.

4. Power of Fasting: Fasting on Maha Shivaratri is believed to cleanse the body and mind, and help in focusing on spiritual practices. It is believed that fasting and staying awake during the night of Shivaratri can help devotees attain spiritual benefits.

5. Auspiciousness and Blessings:Devotees seek blessings for protection, peace, prosperity, and spiritual growth and on this night as seen as especially potent and auspicious.

6. Overcoming Darkness: signifies the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil. It is a time to reflect on the eternal nature of the divine and the transitory nature of worldly existence.

7. Renewal and Rejuvenation: It is a time to let go of past mistakes, seek forgiveness, and move forward with a fresh perspective and renewed energy.

Om Namah Shivay 🙏🏼
