This past weekend, Garrett had his Alabama commencement. Jenny and I are so proud of his accomplishments and hard work. Moved three states over and knew nobody. Found his “people” and built many life-long friendships. We had family and friends who made the trek from San Antonio, Colorado, Georgia, and Arkansas. Happy 29th Anniversary, my love! 🎉❤️
Can you believe it’s been 29 incredible years since we said “I do”? What a beautiful journey we’ve shared.
We’ve laughed until our sides hurt during the fun, silly moments that still make us smile just thinking about them. We’ve held each other tight through the sad and challenging times, proving over and over that our love is stronger than any storm. And through it all, we’ve persevered—hand in hand, heart to heart—growing together in ways I never could have imagined on that special day.
And then there are our three wonderful kids—our greatest adventure and proudest achievement. Watching them grow into the amazing adults they are today has been such a joy, and it’s all the sweeter because we did it side by side.
Jenny, you are my rock, my biggest cheerleader, my favorite person, and the love of my life. These 29 years have been the best of my life because of you.
Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, perseverance, and us—always us.
