wander & wonder

Berlin in autumn,
yellow trees, golden leaves
bike rides beneath the canopies
new paths, little laughs
& kids making everything brighter

the lake glimmering in the sunlight
the breeze carrying cinnamon,
while pumpkins roasting somewhere nearby
so soothing as the breeze passes you by

then back into the city,
into Kiezlab,
surrounded by ideas,
innovators,
& so much to learn

pages filling,
thoughts flowing,
learning to grow
whiiiiiiiilllllleeeeeeeee
still
learning to rest too

& with my daily bread
I pursue & practice:
to wander without rushing,
to wonder without needing an answer,
to keep my haste & my heart close
while moving a little more gently

just joy,
love,
peace,
& gentleness.

a little autumn abundance capsule

AUG'25 // THIS TIME LAST YEAR
i remember august in yellow,
in the green of evergreens
and the blue of quiet lakes.
.
in clouds that looked like stories,
in streets i had never walked before,
in cities moving around me,
and in the kind of people
who make a season stay with you.

there is wonder in the little things:
morning light, familiar streets,
longer walks, slower days,
& a new life quietly taking root in a familiar place

The more I explored, the more I discovered that wonder isn't something you find. It's something you choose to carry with you, even the tiny things

I was surrounded by people who made the little moments feel big. Wonder often looks like appreciation in hindsight. Wonder grows where kindness is & gratitude grows when you take the time to notice

Art, laughs, city bright,
First Thursdays, pure delight.

My favorite place, where my heart has always been

Wondering, wandering & becoming
The best parts of life finds us when we are willing.
With open hands, open heart & an open road ahead
We have the gift to explore newness
& to be brave enough to begin, again & again

A new country gave me new eyes,
& I found beauty in the newness & wonder

After reading The Wonder of Trees by Nicola Davies with the kids, I found myself looking up more often

Trees became quiet reminders that growth doesn't need to be loud. That being deeply rooted doesn't stop you from reaching. That wonder begins the moment you slow down enough to see it
