I feel so blessed to share that I’ll be graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Dance and a minor in Business Administration. These past four years have shaped me in ways I’ll carry forever, and I’m endlessly grateful for this chapter of my life. Thank you @uazdance and @az_pibetaphi for the lifelong friendships, unforgettable memories, and a home away from home. Bear down forever!❤️🐻⬇️ taken in The University of Arizona by @sashaschick

Last weekend, I took my final bow on the Stevie Eller stage. As I close out my time here, I feel endlessly grateful for the opportunities that have shaped me over the past four years. Every moment, every challenge, and every performance has left a mark I’ll carry with me as I step into my next chapter. My time at the University of Arizona School of Dance has been truly unforgettable, and it’s hard to believe this chapter is coming to a close.

Thank you to @lizgeorge1721 and @sl_chiesa for trusting me with your work this semester. It’s been such a gift to learn from and create with you.

Above all, I give thanks to God for guiding every step of this journey and for the blessings that made it all possible. I’m especially grateful for the friendships He has placed in my life and the connections that have supported, inspired, and will stay with me far beyond this season. 🤍 taken in Stevie Eller Dance Theatre by @sashaschick

My last “Fall for Dance!”🥹🪩✨🤍

So incredibly grateful to have been part of @insta_gi ‘s “Disco’s Revenge” and @rubenfromdadrop ‘s “Echoes of the Floor” this semester. Bittersweet final performance with my class as a cohort, but I am eternally grateful for four years of sharing the stage with you all. “I love y’all!” Always. 🤍 taken in University of Arizona School of Dance by @sashaschick

Medici Scholar Sasha Schick attended a professional dance intensive in Dallas, Texas, this summer, thanks to support from the College of Fine Arts Medici Circle.

Schick, a fourth-year BFA dance student, spent the month of July taking class, learning company repertoire, rehearsing, and performing at “SoulEscape,” a professional contemporary dance company. The intensive emphasized connecting the mind and body in movement.

“The month I spent with SoulEscape remains the most meaningful experience of my life,” she said. “I was immersed in an incredibly supportive community that nurtured honesty, encouraged risk-taking, and inspired growth in every moment.”

Medici Circle support allows talented artists like Schick to extend their studies beyond the classroom in pursuits outside the university.

“I could never have had this incredible opportunity without the support of my donor, Wesley Green. Your generosity has made such a profound impact on my life, and the experiences I had will stay with me forever. I am deeply grateful for your belief in me and for giving me the chance to grow, create, and pursue my passion in ways I could only dream of. Thank you so much for making this possible.”
