One day after its release, “Soul Power” is the #1 doc on Prime Video.

The ABA comes into existence in the midst of a tumultuous time in American history: the civil rights movement, the Vietnam war, and a new wave of feminism. The young players featured in this series were up against a lot - in their fight against the insurmountable Powers That Be, the ABA became a band of brothers that relied on one another through thick and thin.

I cannot express enough gratitude to the team - pictured above - for the guidance, trust, commiseration, and laughs that we shared in the process of telling this story. And @kamwanaholley,the director and leader of this project, thank you for pushing me to be the best editor I can be. Thank you all.

This series tells the story of David and Goliath. It’s a story of teamwork. It’s a story about the power of soul.

Came across this work from a year ago - the kickoff video for a startup production company with a unique idea of how to disrupt the industry.
