Happy Thanksgiving weekend from all of us at The Saskatoon Farm!

We’ve prepared some new restaurant specials for you to enjoy, available starting today through next Thursday.

A little reminder: starting this Monday, October 12, the farm will be closed every Monday. Our Restaurant will be open Tuesday through Sunday, from 9 AM to 4 PM.

Here’s what’s cooking this week!

BREAKFAST SPECIAL
Croque Madame
White bread with butter, grilled cheese, mustard, béchamel sauce and ham, topped with an egg and served with a fresh side salad of greens, cherry tomatoes, hemp seeds and balsamic glaze.

CHEF’S SANDWICH CREATION
Turkey Sandwich
White sourdough with butter, cheddar cheese, turkey breast and cranberry sauce — a little taste of the season!

LUNCH SPECIAL
Carne Asada Burrito
Rib-eye steak, rice, beans, grilled peppers and onions, green and red salsa, and ranchero sauce, served with pico de gallo and a fried jalapeño.

DESSERT SPECIAL
Pumpkin Crème Brûlée
A delicious holiday-inspired twist on a classic, served with pumpkin sauce.

FALL HOURS

Starting this Thanksgiving, Monday, October 12, we’ll be closed every Monday as we transition into our fall season.

After a very busy summer, we’re grateful for every customer, event, wedding, and visit that made the season remarkable. But we’re looking forward to having a little more time to slow down, connect with each other, and enjoy some time off with our families and friends.

Mondays will be our chance to finally meet a colleague for coffee, go for a hike, spend time with family, or simply enjoy a quiet day when everyone else has a day off, too.

We’re thankful for the busy season, and we’re excited to settle into a slower pace for fall.

For the last two years, we had a truly beautiful celebration for Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), and the response was overwhelming. Because we have such a strong Mexican community here at the farm, we’re so excited to bring this tradition back again.

On Friday, October 30, 2026, join us at The Saskatoon Farm for this special celebration. We’ll be preparing an altar to honour and remember loved ones who are no longer with us. Our bakery will make Pan de Muerto, the traditional sweet bread for this day.

What to expect:
An altar filled with love and memories
Traditional Pan de Muerto
Face painting
Mexican music
Tacos will be available for purchase
A bar with festive specials
Decorations and great atmosphere

We can’t wait to share this meaningful and joyful evening with you.
