It’s been sad and scary and intense for a while, but I actually now find myself feeling quite grateful.

There are so many awful things taking place in the world. And I know everything is relative, but it’s important to have that perspective sometimes.

I’m a big believer in the law of attraction. So I don’t like to dwell. If I put goodness out there, I know it will come.

The day I left law.

A bit of a rollercoaster of emotions.

I’ve had so much going on and work hasn’t been a nice escape from it all. It’s been a burden.

2026 is a full reset year. Being single. Leaving law. Leaving Wiltshire 💔. Being FREE.

@sshepaints - love your work and whole vibe. Envious of you having (what appears to be) a breezy and calm home life *asterix major asterixxxxx* v conscious you are also a toddler boy mum so can home life be calm anymore? I more mean non-turbulent home life like me rn !

So my room is in now way done but I’ve got to do a little pat on the back for where we are so far. Loving this full colour drench of blue. Need to figure out what that electrics box could do - v much dislike the old ceiling lights which currently remain in place so will be looking to rewire in time…

I don’t currently have any matching bedside tables in my possession so this chair and the books will have to do. I kinda love it.

Blind fabric yet to be decided on and then to be made by myself. This is going to be a slow burner...

But look how far we have come!

It’s been 8 months too long of me living in such a tired, messy and cluttered room.

SASKIA IS BACK.

But when one room tidies, another takes a hit… the clutter is migrating but also (I hope) reducing ! by @sasmotif

Life is a bloomin rollercoaster. We were all in such shock and fear which bloody takes it out of you. But then we had a good few bevs to celebrate the positive news in life and to keep pushing on.

Hello to lots of you out there. Here are some of my recent, pretty mundane updates if you care…

Things have been a bit sad and scary for us this week. Which has forced me to slow down. This is me and Oz post his midday nap doodling on my iPad in a partly-redecorated bedroom.

Three generations of family. My world.

Another bedroom that needs a facelift. Drying my hair for the first time in months… I told you these were mundane updates.

I swear I never noticed how good this view was until I took this video.

Celebrating our Grumps’ 90th. Gimme a lasting love like this plz and ty.

Smirking at my own work. Oz has identical twins as aunts…

My first ever visit to a Pig Hotel… minus the overnight stay. A special day with the lassies who have got me through the past year.

My new take on co-parenting: two solo mums coming together with their boys for some shared play, supper and bath time.
