🍃 NATIONAL SOBER DAY 🍃

Today, on National Sober Day, we celebrate strength, courage, healing, and the decision to keep moving forward.

Sobriety is more than giving something up—it’s about getting your life back. It’s waking up with purpose, rebuilding relationships, finding peace, discovering who you truly are, and choosing yourself one day at a time.

Whether you’ve been sober for one day, one month, one year, or decades, your journey matters. And if you’re still fighting to find your way, know that change is possible.

Your story could be the reason someone else believes they can make it too.

Keep going. Keep growing. Keep choosing life.

And remember, you are LIVING PROOF! 💜

🍃 THANK YOU 🍃

We wanted to take a moment and thank you everyone who came to support our @sasobriety5k and the introduction of the first ever @sasoberfest this year. One thing we learned is to ensure our Sober Festival starts immediately around the same time AND we will offer the event for FREE to give back.

Next year be prepared as we will continue to add more and offer more on both events. The date for next year will be announced soon. Again, thank you to everyone and especially the guest speakers. We will share some special clips from the weekend all week long. Let’s continue to support each other and help those who struggle from drug addiction or alcohol addiction. You are not alone and you are living proof!

What an incredible day! 🙌

Today’s Sober 5K and Sober Fest hosted by @sasoberfest and @allaccessma were a huge success, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who came out, showed support, stopped by, shared a conversation, and helped make this day so special.

Seeing so many people come together around sobriety, connection, community, and simply enjoying life was a powerful reminder of why SOBER SOCIETY exists.

And a special shoutout to the SOBER SOCIETY OG’s — the ones who have been there, believed in the vision, showed up, and helped build this community from the beginning. You know who you are. 🖤

To our entire SOBER SOCIETY family, thank you. Whether you’ve been with us since day one or today was your first time connecting with us, you’re part of this movement.

Today was about more than a 5K or a festival. It was about community, connection, and showing people that you can live a full, meaningful life in sobriety.

We’re just getting started.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE.

🍃 GUEST SPEAKER 🍃

After losing too many friends and family members to alcohol, Jacinto Rodriguez made the decision to choose sobriety—for his health, himself, and his family.

Grateful for the opportunity to continue living a sober life, Jacinto now focuses on enjoying every moment with the people he loves. 🙌🙏

We can’t wait to learn more and see you all tomorrow morning at Martin Luther King Jr. Park.

🍃 Guest Speaker 🍃

Kara Soenksen realized how much alcohol was taking away from her life after reaching rock bottom. Exhausted from a cycle that had already cost her so much, she refused to lose her life too. Kara became honest with herself, admitted she couldn’t do it alone, and asked for help. That moment marked the beginning of choosing recovery—and a better life for herself and her children. 🙏🏼 She’ll be speaking more about her journey this Saturday morning at the Sober Festival.
