My mom and I spent an afternoon in NYC with my dear friend @sampickart commemorating and capturing our milestone birthdays of 2026. It was one of my favorite days I’ve ever had with her. Exactly half her age, and always trying to catch up to her joy and the magical way she flies through life.

Forever lucky to be her daughter.

hi I’m 35 today🌸✨

If you’ve blessed my life since taking my first breath (my parents secretly have instagram, hi), or have became one of my close friends this calendar year, or you’re Ayanna from community goods at the pacific design center, thank you for making my life full of joy and support.

I’d thought I’d do 35 things that make me happy because gratitude lists are good to get the vibes up (my friend Nicole does them every night with these amazing gel pens) in no particular order:

* When Mouse walks on the curb like she’s walking on a balance beam
* My perfect home
* The way my dad says “hey sweetie” when he answers the phone
* My nephews crooked smile (braces are coming my man, Levine right of passage)
* When Melissa says “wife privileges” before she tells me a secret
* The Los Angeles flower market
* The sound of my friend cackle laughing at something I said once and it becoming a part of the vernacular
* The Joan’s on 3rd Chinese chicken salad (met Joan a week or so ago she’s actually cool af)
* A standing work out date twice a week with one of my favorite people in the world.
* Pink, the color not the artist (love you girl)
* Voice notes under 2 min
* Abbreviations that make sense to only like 3 people
