Found these Skull Candy Jars at Dollar Tree that already had cord handles. Along with some flameless tealights, my handy soldering iron and glue gun, they were tranformed into Skull Lanterns. Here's all you have to do...

Using the tealight, mark the base of the Skull

Use a soldering iron(or whatever utensil you're most comfortable with) cut a circle out of the base

Pop tealight into newly created hole

Glue into place

BAM! Super easy spooky Skull Lantern! Great for decorating or haunting your local woods 😉👻 #

Great first day @fanexpochicago! This year we started as Seto Kaiba and Blue Eyes White Dragon. Glad to run into @bex_cosplay again. Fairest of all, per usual. Happy New Year! Had some fantastic moments this past year and hope for even more in the next. My son became my excellent cosplay partner, it helped that he got to dress as characters he likes 😉 Even got my husband to join in, playing Rip to my Beth Dutton. And all this fun gave me the courage to go completely vintage for Christmas. Need to wear pearls and fascinators more often 😁 Hope to take on bigger projects this year! 🤞🤞🤞

FINALLY talked my husband into a couple's costume, Beth Dutton and Rip from 'Yellowstone'. Best part is we thrift-shopped almost everything(plus repurposed/restyled a wig from my stash). Love a bargain costume, especially when it's clothes I can reuse. Lord knows that bougie faux lynx coat is getting worn this winter 😁

Fan Expo Chicago 2024 photo dump! The 90's kid in me loved getting autographs(and hugs) from Skeet Ulrich, Matthew Lillard, and Jamie Kennedy. Also loved meeting Adam Savage and getting my first lightsaber. Srsly, the folks at Ultrasabers were awesome!

Thank you FAN EXPO Chicago! This was my son's first Con and his bday too! We had a blast. His highlight was meeting Amir Talai(who loved our cosplays) and mine was seeing him bask in the attention his Alastor got. Proud mama vibes here. Made all the time crafting and sewing worth it 😌
Ya'll made him feel so special, especially the Hazbin Hotel fans, and it meant alot to me. Safe to say he'll want to join me for any other events I attend 😁

Dress and apron DONE! Looking pretty Niffty so far. Hated the idea of painting spots on the apron, luckily I found some rose lace that i could embroider on. And with Niffty being small and vicious I figured her poodle needed some bite. Last but not least, POCKETS! Need I say more 😉 Takes me too long to do these but gonna keep chipping away 😁
