On today's #texturetuesday I bring you this finger coil tutorial!!! I told my editor I don't care what else you edit today, but I need that finger coil tutorial asap. And he delivered 🙌🏾 Friday I achieved these lovely finger coils using @neocurly Curl It, Twist It, Styling Gel Flake-free, Non-caking, No-crunch Shine Boosting, Moisturizering Styler.
🎉Have you done finger coils?? It's my favorite style to achieve, but once I get to two hours and I'm still not done I pretend to cry a little 😂 but I knew what I got into when I started. That's why this style stays in the vault.🙈

Heyyy Sassy Gang!!!
So today I wanted to show you all me getting ready for my protective style tomorrow. I know nothing about editing Sooo...this is the raw uncut version.🙊 Any whoo... I used @essentiallyyilbis Rose Oil Hydrating Mist as my heat protectant.
I also used a blow dryer I absolutely hate! Yes you heard right hate!! This bad boy cuts off when it gets hot. So achieving this blow out was a job, but it's the only dryer I own with an attachment.🤷🏾‍♀️ So I did what I had to do to achieve this lovely blown out hair. I can't believe how much my hair has grown!! I colored my hair in November!!

I've been trying to make sure I incorporate protein back into my wash day at least twice a month. This week I used @michebeauty_ Strengthen Protein+ Moisture Balancing Deep Conditioning Treatment for Dry, Damaged hair.
I've used this one several times throughout my natural hair journey. I love the original scent, I also enjoy how thick it is! A little goes a long way. My curls always show up when I pull this one out!🙌🏾

This week I used @asiamnaturally Onion Water I really have enjoyed using this water for different things. I also used @curlsmith_official Bond Curl Rehab Salve. I've used this product on and off for years! I made the mistake of putting it down for awhile and I feel like my hair suffered, so it's back to stay in my routine!

Heyyy Sassygang!!!

Tonight I bring you a #transparent reel. This winter I started noticing breakage in my crown area, and didn't wanna admit it until I watched this reel, and I said okay we have gotta find out what's going on. I found out my iron was low and so was my vitamin D. I was also having mad skin issues all winter long. Still haven't seen a dermatologist yet, but my skin is slowly coming along. This wash day I used @soultanicals Heat Spray Love Ayurvedic Heat Defense Spray and one of the first times I've used my @dyson Nural since I got it for Christmas!

On this wash day I used another lovely winter time favorite combo of mine! @miss_jessies Leave in Condish soybean+ Aloe. I love the scent of this leave in conditioner so much! A little goes a long way, use too much and you will have a white cast on your hair when it dries. I also used @twisted_aloe Aloe Matcha Hair Moisturizer, I also love the scent of this one. And how well it locks in moisture.

On this wash day I used @asiamnaturally Onion Conditioner. I love the slip it has, I've only used it once so far. It smells like the shampoo. After talking to everyone in the house we all describe the scent difference. I think it smells like pomegranate scented things, one kid says it smells like flowers, one says he doesn't like the scent. My husband said it smells like something from outside🤣 I said does it smell like an onion!? He said No.

On this wash day I used @asiamnaturally Onion Shampoo with red onions, ceramides, & isoquercetin. I really enjoyed the lather. And how soothing it felt to the scalp. It did not strip my hair at all. However I should have read the instructions, because it says leave the shampoo on your hair a few mins before rinsing.🥴

This week I achieved my #TwoStrandTwist using @designessentialsnatural African Chebe Growth Collection Braid & Twist Out Strengthening Creme. The instructions say use on damp hair. But I did not, and still got very juicy twist.🙌🏾

It's been awhile I know, these colder months have not been kind to ya girl this year. But I see my big homie the Sun starting to come out more and more! So if I survive the pollen in spring I'll definitely be back by then. This winter I've been using @twisted_aloe Aloe Matcha Hair Moisturizer. I love the creamy consistency it has, I love how it locks in my moisture after a long wash day!
