Today at Delhi Public School, Vasant Vihar, I had the joy of conducting a body movement workshop with young minds—an invitation to discover the hidden creativity that already lives within every child. Children do not perform to impress; they move because wonder asks them to. Their bodies become language before words arrive. Watching their small gestures felt like witnessing little stars finding their own place in the sky. They asked me countless questions—curious, fearless, and beautifully honest. In answering them, I discovered parts of myself that had been quietly waiting to be found. Sometimes, the greatest teacher in the room is the child. I was deeply inspired by their audacity—their fearless curiosity and the divine innocence they carried in every movement. Their openness touched me in ways I had not expected, reminding me that true creativity begins where hesitation ends. I left the workshop feeling transformed, carrying with me the quiet wisdom that only children can offer. Art is not something we give to children. It is something they remind us has always existed within us. My heartfelt gratitude to Jasmine for making this beautiful encounter possible, and to Delhi Public School, Vasant Vihar, for opening a space where imagination could move freely. Falling Skies Fractred roots Medium- Acrylic with Gouache on Canvas Size 56 x78 inchs The sky falls not only in stone and dust, but in memory. The earth opens its ancient body, swallowing roads, homes, and histories. Roots are torn from the soil that once held them, and birds circle above in anxious silence, searching for a direction that no longer exists. In the aftermath of catastrophe, even the landscape forgets its own shape. Yet nature carries an older wisdom than destruction. From the cracked earth, a solitary flower unfolds—a quiet smile against despair. It does not erase the wound; it simply chooses to bloom beside it. The frightened birds continue their uncertain flight, each tracing a new map through a broken sky. Falling Skies, Fractured Roots is a meditation on the fragile balance between collapse and renewal. *Craphone Liu* is a Taiwanese multidisciplinary artist working across performance art, moving image, installation, and artificial intelligence. His practice explores the intersections of the body, nature, spirituality, and emerging technologies. Combining improvisation with cinematic language, he creates works that blur the boundaries between performance, film, and visual art. Influenced by mysticism, ritual, and ecological landscapes, Liu investigates unseen relationships between human consciousness and the environment. Working primarily as an independent creator, he directs, performs, films, and edits his own projects, developing a distinctive visual language where technology becomes a poetic medium rather than merely a tool. by @satadrusovan

Denise Bryan , UK Bryan is an artist based in London and Oxford UK. She makes sculptural installations and  performance. Her work draws on her extensive experience of travel, examining the world  through the lens of relationship and the confluence of ideas. By using a participatory  approach, to share her experiences, people are invited to find commonality and community  through her work. Recent works have explored the way in which we respond to the natural  world and the landscape. This can be seen in sculptural work that suggests how we embody  landscapes that we pass through and performance work that explores how we interact with  the world around us. This work is influenced by Posthumanist discourse about how we can learn to exist in our world in a more harmonious way, finding better ways to form  relationships and to help preserve our planet. Bryan studied Sculpture at the Royal College of Art and has subsequently shown widely in  the UK, Europe and the US. She is a senior lecturer in Fine Art at Oxford Brookes University  and has lectured at many UK universities. She is currently completing her PhD by Published work. by @satadrusovan

Amin Gulgee,  Pakistan Amin Gulgee (b. 1965, Karachi, Pakistan) is a visual artist, sculptor, performance artist, and independent curator based in Karachi. He earned a BA in Art History and Economics from Yale University in 1987, where he received the Conger B. Goodyear Fine Arts Award for his thesis on Mughal gardens. Working primarily with sculpture, installation, and performance, Gulgee explores unexpected connections and alternative narratives through a practice that resists fixed categories. His work is distinguished by its non-dualistic philosophy, expressed through the materiality of metal and an interdisciplinary approach that bridges object, body, and space. Over a career spanning more than three decades, Gulgee has exhibited extensively across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America. His notable solo exhibitions include The Spider Speaketh in Tongues (Chicago, 2022), 7 and 7.7 (Rome, 2018), Walking on the Moon (Kuala Lumpur, 2015), and Looking for the Magic Center (Dubai, 2009). He has also participated in major international exhibitions, including the Beijing Biennial and Beyond Borders at the National Gallery of Modern Art, Islamabad. An influential figure in contemporary performance art, Gulgee has created more than 35 performance works and curated numerous exhibitions. He served as Chief Curator of the inaugural Karachi Biennale in 2017. His public commissions include works for the Pakistan Parliament in Islamabad and the United Nations Headquarters in New York, while his artworks are held in major international collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. by @satadrusovan

KIMVI nguyen (British-born Vietnamese) KIMVI is a British-born Vietnamese international visual and performance artist currently based in China. She holds a BA in Fine Art Sculpture from Winchester School of Art (UK) and an MA in Performing Public Space from Fontys Academy of the Arts (Netherlands). She is a member of the Performing Space Association (Greece) and has held an artist-in-residence position at the Department of Architecture, Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University (China). She is represented by BFM Art Center (China).Her multidisciplinary practice spans performance art, installation, sculpture, film, and design. With a focus on site-specificity, her work explores the intersection between the grounded body, cultural identity, and public space. Guided by a holistic and environmentally conscious approach, her performances often incorporate gestures of stillness and silence as a method of inquiry. KIMVI’s work has been presented internationally at institutions and festivals including Art Central Hong Kong (China), Territori Festival (Spain), International Theatre and Art Festival (Spain), Eugenio de Almeida Foundation (Portugal), National Centre for Contemporary Arts (Russia), la JUAN Gallery (Spain), VSSL Studio (UK), Venice Performance week (Italy), ]Performance space[ (UK) and the Central Academy of Fine Arts (China). Her film-based performances have received international recognition, including an award from the Architecture & Design Film Festival (Canada), a finalist selection in Música x Arquitectura (Spain), and a Special Mention at the Golden Pear Award (Argentina). Julia Kurek (Poland) Julia Kurek is a visual artist and performer, working across performance, video art, and installation. Her artistic practice centers around the human body, social interaction, and the poetics of presence. Kurek holds a postdoctoral degree (habilitation) from the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk (2018) and a PhD from the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław (2015). She completed her MA in Gdańsk and participated in a doctoral program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. In 2008–2009, she also studied at Marmara University in Istanbul. She currently lectures at the Academy of Art in Szczecin, Poland. Her work explores human vulnerability, memory, and interpersonal dynamics through minimal gestures and participatory actions. Over the years, Kurek has presented her work in numerous exhibitions, festivals, and biennials across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Africa. Her performances and video installations have been showcased in over 30 countries, including Japan, the United States, Brazil, Israel, Finland, India, and Turkey. Selected venues include the Newark Museum (USA), MMOMA – Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Haus der Kunst (Germany), Petach Tikva Museum of Art (Israel), Muu Gallery (Finland), and the National Museum in Szczecin (Poland). Kurek is particularly interested in socially engaged art and often creates works that involve direct interaction with the audience. @infinite_biscuit Bill Aitchison is a British artist and performance maker based in China. His performances and exhibitions have been presented in major museums, galleries, theatres and festivals in Europe, North America, the Middle East, Australia and China. His artworks are held in both private collections and museums. His output is as prolific as it is diverse with projects taking an extremely wide range of forms such as videos, monologues, group events, online encounters, guided tours, photography, installation and audio art. Despite this, his work as a whole is recognisable for its formal clarity, ambition of intent, dry humour and innovative use of site and frame. Aitchison has lived and worked within several distinct contexts such as London Live Art, New York’s downtown experimental theatre, German post-dramatic theatre, European conceptual dance, Balkan site-specific performance and Chinese performance art. His work draws upon all of these and puts them together in a unique way. He completed a three year full-time diploma in mime at Ecole de Mime Corporel Dramatique. He has a practice-as-research PhD from Goldsmiths College in the field of performance art and movement discipline. He has taught and lectured at graduate and post-graduate level and presented his research at conferences worldwide. He is curator of Last Minute Live Art, a Chinese performance platform that he co-founded in Nanjing. Andreas Hoffmann (Germany) @andreashoffmann271 Andreas Hoffmann is an interdisciplinary artist and lecturer working in the fields of performance art, installation, video, and photography. Since 1990 he has worked internationally as an independent artist. His works have been presented in numerous European countries as well as across Asia, including at the Asiatopia Festival, the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (BACC), Bangkok (2024/2018), the Dehong International Art Biennale, Yunnan, China, the Viva Excon Biennale, Visayas, Philippines (2024), Galerie Peripherie Tübingen, Wagenhallen Stuttgart (2024/2023), the Yuan Xiaocen Art Museum, Kunming, China, the Cultural Museum of Gucheng District, Lijiang, China (2019), the Zero Platform Festival, Yangon, Myanmar (2018/2017), Herausforderung Krawatte at the German Federal Foreign Office in Berlin (2007), and KörperWissen at the University Museum Tübingen (2009). Further exhibitions include Hautkontakt / Body Way at the German Leather Museum Offenbach (2006), the Municipal Gallery Sindelfingen and Artgalerie Reutlingen, as well as Body Cross at the Cathedral Museum Frankfurt and the Diocesan Museum Limburg (2002–2004). Hoffmann’s artistic practice explores the human condition within the tensions between body, nature, and social relations. Paramesh Jolad @parameshjolad D. Jolad is a Bengaluru-based multidisciplinary artist, researcher, and live art performer born in 1964 in Kodihal, Karnataka, into a farming family. His practice is rooted in memory, land, labor, and the lived experiences of rural life, unfolding through painting, installation, and performance art. He holds a PhD in Painting from Jain University, Bengaluru, and an MFA in Painting from Karnataka University, Dharwad. His work has been exhibited at the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy, Goa Kala Academy, the South Zone Cultural Centre (SZCC), and other leading art platforms in India. Jolad has participated in residencies at Hidden Room, Santiniketan, and Sarla Home of Art and Artists, Bengaluru. Internationally, he has presented performances and installations in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Germany, while continuing an active practice across India. To date, he has created over 150 live art performances. His work has been recognized with the Varnasree Award from the Karnataka Lalit Kala Academy, the Paddanna Award from Kala Gangotri, a grant from One Shanti Studio and Badam Tree, and the Gold Medal for his MFA in Painting.
