Let’s make professional dress straps with placement hooks that actually stay put. 🧵

Step 1: Cut fabric strips (width is 3.5 cm in my case) & fold face to face (pro-tip: press with steam! 🪄)

Step 2:Cut 4x 4cm straps. Stitch the strap ends securely at your placement hooks 🪝 (mine were at the lining in front and at the back between the lining and main fabric - face it out)

Step 3: Slide on your sliders & hooks on the straps for that store-bought finish ✨

Step 4: Attach straps into your dress & have fun in your new dress! 💃

Day two making a dress. I’ve created a gorgeous corset that will be my lining inside the dress. The actual dress won’t have cups as I have beautiful flower pattern and I’d like to minimize the cuts on the fabric.
