Hi there my friends, my name is Luke and I am the founder of SkiMythic! I'm 25 years old, working as an instructor and mountain guide around the world since 2016.

I have created this page as a way to share my adventures with you all as well as pass on some of the helpful knowledge I have learnt throughout my skiing career. My intention is to grow this page organically and use this platform to give people a glimpse into what it's like to live in the mountains every winter, but also as a tool to enhance my passion for skiing and training as an instructor.

Skiing is my deepest passion and I am so grateful to everyone who has helped me get to where I am today, I am so incredibly fortunate to be able to live the lifestyle that I have for the past 8 years and I cannot wait to see what new adventures are yet to be discovered!

So, welcome to SkiMythic! I can't wait to hear from you and I look forward to helping each of you venture further into the world of winter sports! taken in Nozawa Onsen, Japan by @satori.snow

Another Japanese winter all wrapped up, and now my first southern hemisphere season fast approaching. As I'm sat here watching another sun set on Whistler mountain, I've been taking some time to reflect on all that has been going on in my world. So much is changing, I can feel myself growing, learning, opening myself up and welcoming every opportunity ahead of me. I say this every single winter, but this might have just been my favourite season so far!

I've got plenty I want to share with you all, from powday highlights, scenic backcountry tours, my favourite spots in this beautiful village, and all of my friends who have helped make this latest chapter of my adventure unforgettable. It's actually a little overwhelming trying to wade through all the stuff I have saved on my phone.

I'll be sharing more info on the where, whens and whats for the upcoming season shortly as well, so watch this space 😉
