POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I came to Barcelona about a month ago with the hope to explore, to get inspired and finde a place I could call home. I am now leaving Barcelona sooner that expected with bags full of beautiful memories, new friendships and a new found strength in my self. I have the feeling this is only the beginning. I’ll be back next year and hopefully for good☀️

I am leaving Barcelona because an exciting work opportunity came up… updates coming soon. by @sattlerlisa

Part II

Of sewing a beach skirt while it is pouring rain in Barcelona 🐬🩷🌧️✨

I sewed all panels together by hand using a nude coloured thread. Then I attached a hock and eye closure on one side so I can get in and out of the skirt comfortably. The skirt is finished and I can start wearing it now. As you can see the options are endless.

I had so much fun creating the skirt and I hope tonne back with a diy soon🫶🏼 taken in Barcelona, Spain by @sattlerlisa

Part I
Making a skirt for the Beach while it’s pouring rain in Barcelona 🐬🩷🌧️

I found these beautiful crochet placemats at the thrift store and immediately had a vision for a skirt. So here we go… First I am assembling the four pieces using a contrasting colour thread. This way I can see how the material drapes and flows. At this stage I can adjust the placement of each panel. I am happy with the look so I can now start sewing the panels together with a nude colored threa.

part II with the reveal of the final result is out NOW🫶🏼 taken in Barcelona, Spain by @sattlerlisa

I felt like yapping 💅🏼 Let me know if you found this interesting or not. My explanation of the heroine’s journey isn’t the most accurate. I might have to come back to it or you have to read the book with the same title. by @sattlerlisa

This post is a reminder to myself. In times of little creative output. I want to remind myself of all the little moments in my day. The daily rituals, small gestures of kindness, little moments of magic and synchronicities. These moments make up my artistic journey. 🌷

acting milestones of 2025💫

I love how in this profession I get to start my year not really knowing what is going to happen (sometimes wondering if anything will happen at all) throughout the year.

Looking back at my 2025 I can say it was a huge year of growth and exploration. I got to try things out for the first time (trying out new hobbies, practicing new skills…). This past year has made me more confinement in my skills and the value of my work. And I will keep showing up because the most amazing things are still ahead of me… ✨ by @sattlerlisa

My sister helped me taking these pictures I needed for a casting.

It was a rainy morning and the pictures were taken behind a church because it was the only space we could find with a neural wall.

But we got creative and I am super pleased with the end result. Also, I did end up booking the job.
