Mumbai… the chill Car-nival is officially on the move!🚗 {chill on wheels, Hocco, ice cream, Mumbai, chill, Hoccoverse} by @sauce_vc
For Diwali this year, the Mirasi team is delighted to ready over 250 customised gift boxes for the wonderful folks at @sauce_vc ✨ Each box includes new Mirasi products - handcrafted stoles and pocket squares, along with a personalised note that shares the history of the fabrics and the craftspeople behind it. From the first weave to the final packaging, every detail in this gift box is a way to honour the artisans and bring their work into our celebration. Thank you Sauce! 🪔 #Mirasi #MirasiGifts #HandcraftedInIndia #Diwali2025 by @sauce_vc
Been meaning to post this special note for a while 🥹 So grateful to have people like @manuchandra1 support me through my career in the last couple of years. He is one of Thought Over Design’s biggest cheerleaders and I cannot be more grateful to have someone like him in my corner. I was introduced to Manu Chandra via @shashankfit when we were working on rebranding @thewholetruthfoods in the early days. A definite turning point in my career has been the opportunity to work with Shashank & @rachnaaggarwal4 building the design and brand language for TWT. Manu later brought me on board when he chose to invest in @ankitchona’s venture and we were given the amazing opportunity to brand @hoccoicecream and reintroduce it as a nation wide ice cream brand. I’ve learned so much working with Ankit over the last year and it’s been insane to see Hocco’s success unfold. More recently we immersed ourselves in understanding the strollers and technical baby products industry and introduced @weareloopie a brand for a new generation of parents with @akriti_gupta_bb - can’t wait to see this brand soar! The association with Sauce.vc to me has been special as we’ve done a lot of deep work together. Really excited to be a part of the Sauce family. I admire each person on the team and advisory board and am genuinely super stoked that I am working towards our collective goal of enabling founders and entrepreneurs in India do awesome things with @sauce_vc @thoughtoverdesign by @sauce_vc

Hats off to the entire Hocco team – your dedication and passion are truly inspiring. The future looks delicious! 🍦🍨 by @sauce_vc

We hosted a closed door learning session for select Fund 2 and 3 founders. A small group made for a highly interactive chat. The session was run by @rohitchawla27 , founder of @innovist.official . He shared tools, tricks and operational tips on how to improve marketing efficiency and profitability by focusing on retention, cross-selling and upselling. Innovist houses 3 sharply positioned science based digital beauty brands with its own R&D and manufacturing arms. Over the last year it has had a remarkable 3x scale up with no cash burn at all while turning profitable in a very competitive category, which was a very inspiring case study for all founders. This session is a part of a Pay It Forward series where scaled founders from Sauce portfolio companies and ecosystem share practical experiences and learnings to help the next generation of founders succeed better and faster. Attendees - 1. @riddhi.babyorgano & @ripul_msharma from @babyorgano 2. @isawsukul from @kreosphere 3. @tusharkhurana433 from @perforaofficial 4. @manuchandra1 , @padmam27 , @kvk237 & @vasundharabhagat from @sauce_vc And a few yet to be announced startup portfolio founders. by @sauce_vc
Do you know that the founders of @perforaofficial met at the @jagriti.yatra - a 15 day train journey to inspire youth to become entrepreneurs. 🚀🙌 Shot a fantastic episode with @jatanbawa and discused his and @tusharkhurana433’s journey of building one of India’s fastest growing consumer brands. ❤️ (₹65 crore revenue per year in 3 years) There is soooooooo much to learn from this podcast for young founders. 💯 Super excited to share this with our community soon. 🙌 by @sauce_vc
We’ve helped build a fun new energy drink! ⚡️ @rockit_drinks defies the clichés of ‘overtly macho’ energy drinks with its vibrancy and lightness. Embracing positivity with a “to the moon” spirit, ROCKIT’s identity and packaging system playfully disrupts the needless aggression we see on the energy drink aisle. by @sauce_vc
Hosted an awesome get together with @sauce_vc last week, bringing together 30+ consumer brands & founders for an evening of learning and collaboration! 🇮🇳 🚀 The goal of the event was to provide a platform for founders from all stages to learn from each other, gain insights and build relationships. ❤️ We had Ankit Agrawal (Founder & CEO, InsuranceDekho) and Jatan Bawa (Co-Founder, Perfora) share their experience of building 2 of India’s most loved consumer brands. We also had Yash Dholakia (Partner, Sauce.vc) and Zoeb Ali Khan (Vice President, Sauce.vc) share their thesis of exciting opportunities in the consumer space in India. 🙌 💯 ✅ While Ankit talked about hiring, brand building, company culture and fund raising, Jatan talked about disrupting generational companies and building consumer first brands. ✅ One of the biggest learnings we had from the event was that it is super important for founders to be product obsessed and track customer love. These are 2 of the biggest metrics that can help you build large consumer brands. ❤️ Excited to share more learnings from the event over the coming weeks! Thank you to our partners @creatorsnest.in , @no.nikhil , @jas___97 , @getsetgo.studios for covering the event! 🙌🚀 by @sauce_vc
