Today on this teachers day, I want to take a small step back and reflect upon where i started, 7 years ago it was all just a blur, no Ai to do brainstorm with, no career counselling, just a heart which bled, and begged to be followed, so i followed it, little did i know that after all these years I can call this love story better than twilight 😂😂(im sure genz will not get this one)

But jokes apart I am super super thankful to Allah subhan for showing me this path, guiding me on this path, It makes me feel good, i enter my class with a smile, I leave with a smile, even on my worst days, classroom is the only place i really want to be( freak aint I) 😂😂

So today I would like to wish all the freaks around the world who aspire to inspire a very warm and happy teachers day❤️❤️

I know its not rewarding in terms of money, I know its exhausting, I know how people can just disrespect us by saying ahhh u are just a teacher what else do u do?? i know how after being burnt out for the whole year when we get summer break everyone says that you guys have the easiest job😢

But lets just kick those streotypes away and enjoy our day and lets just keep going coz if we will continue to go, we will break the shackles, we will create a better world for everyone inshallah coz teachers can make or break this world and nobody is anybody without us😍😊#happyteachersday❤️ No Ai was used in writing this caption coz Ai got no heart so how will it understand what the heart feels😂 by @saudanis00

Going back to routine feels harder than the walking did.

Something in me changed up there and I have not fully worked out what yet. I only know that the man who came down is not the one who left.

This is the last reel. Work starts, the load returns, the mundane comes back the way it always does.

But before it does, thank you. To everyone who was part of this.

We were very different people. We arrived with different fears and different vulnerabilities, and we did not choose each other. We were simply put on the same glacier at the same time.

And whatever happens now, wherever any of us goes, this stays. Not as a photograph. As something we carry.

We will become who we become partly because of those fourteen days, and we will always have them together
Thank you… by @saudanis00

K2 bc and ggla HOW HARD is the trip well lets dig THE ROUTE

Skardu to Askole by jeep, six hours on a road that stops being a road. Then you walk. Askole, Jhula, Paiju, Khuburtse, Urdukas, Goro II, Concordia. Eight days in. K2 Base Camp sits at 5,150 m, Gondogoro La at 5,588 m. Out through Khuspang, Saicho and Hushe. Around 200 km on foot in fourteen days No technical climbing until the pass. Everything before it is walking on broken glacier moraine, which is harder than it sounds and destroys your ankles and your patience. Longest day was 21 km. The pass is a ten hour night crossing with crampons, harness, helmet and a fixed rope.

WHAT NOBODY WARNS YOU ABOUT
It is not your legs, it is breathing. If you live at sea level, and I live in Karachi, there is no way to train for altitude at home. Train hard anyway, then accept that the men who move fastest usually grew up somewhere high. That is geography, not fitness. GONDOGORO LA
Weather dependent. If it is bad you do not go, and you walk eight days back the way you came. Crossed at night because after sunrise the sun loosens rock onto the route and softens the snow bridges over the crevasses. A rescue team is stationed on it through the season. It needs a separate permit.

WHAT IT IS ACTUALLY LIKE
No clean washroom for two weeks. No signal for thirteen days. You eat and sleep by what is available, not what you want. Everybody’s real self shows up around day five, including your own.

WHEN
Late June to August. We went 7 to 19 July and had unusually good weather, which is luck, not planning.

If you are thinking about this trek, ask me anything below and I will answer all of it.

And if you have already done it, tell me what surprised you most. I am still working out my own answer. #GondogoroLa #K2BaseCamp #BaltoroGlacier #Karakoram #GilgitBaltistan taken in K2 Mountain Base Camp, Concordia by @saudanis00
