I heard a quote from an incredible athlete:
“Water looks the same until it’s 32 degrees”
From the outside, nothing seems different, but internally it has reached a breaking point where it changes form.

And I think that perfectly describes my first CrossFit Open.
 I may look the same as I did yesterday, or feel the same as yesterday, but my moment of change comes from hitting my threshold. That threshold is reached by choosing not to quit. By doing one more rep, one more run, one more round.
Every single workout I became something harder, stronger, more disciplined.
I didn’t always hit the times I wanted. I didn’t always hit the reps I wanted. I burned out.
But I didn’t quit. I didn’t fail. I kept going. I gave it all my body could give. I tried... really hard. And that’s a win for me.

My takeaway? “You either win the day or you lose the day”
 Today either moves you forward or it doesn’t. There is no neutral when you’re chasing something hard.

I’m so happy to announce that I’ve accepted a position in the Emergency Department at Self Regional Medical Center!!

I’ve had the pleasure of working here for the past 2 years, learning, growing & working alongside some incredible nurses & I can truthfully say that I am in the BEST hands as a new graduate.
Being an ER nurse has always been my dream & I cannot wait to start this journey!!! 🥹🎓👩🏼‍⚕️🩺❤️
