Let’s talk moody fall palettes 🍂

There is something about pairing earthy tones with rich jewel hues that feels both unexpected and completely inevitable for fall. Two completely different spaces, the Brick Hall and the White Hall, that can be used separately or together for your ceremony, your reception, or both. A getting ready suite that is actually photo ready. A patio that puts you right in the middle of the city. And 16 hours to use all of it, with no rush.

This one made me EMOTIONAL 🥹

Tricia and I used to speculate about how our boyfriends were going to propose to us. And now, here we are… both married to those same amazing men.

There is something so special about helping people bring their vision to life and getting to watch all of those conversations, decisions, and little details become real. And when it’s your FRIENDS, it really hits the heartstrings hard. I may or may not have cried all day when no one was looking lol.

Savannah is the city they fell in love with a long time ago. It’s the place they chose to build their life together and become husband and wife. After finally getting to experience the city myself, I completely understand why they fell in love with it.

From getting married inside the breathtaking Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist in downtown Savannah to having their guests sign a literal shotski as their guest book, every part of the day felt like Trish and Russ.

But more than any of the details, what I’ll remember most is the way they saw each other. Not just looked at each other, but really saw each other. The way they always do.

Their connection feels like one that was written in the stars an eternity ago, and the rest of us just have the great honor of getting to witness it in real time.

Getting to watch two beautiful families come together around them and celebrate a love that feels so obviously meant to be is something I’ll never forget.

Tricia and Russell, I am SO unbelievably happy for you. I feel so blessed that I got to plan this day alongside you, watch all of our meticulous planning come to life, and, most importantly, be there as two of my friends started this next chapter together.

I love you guys! Congratulations, MR. AND MRS. WALKER!!! 🤍

Brie and Dakota said whimsical and meant it ✨

A floral table runner, moss centerpieces, giant paper flowers anchoring the whole room — every single detail pointed in the same direction. That is what happens when a couple locks in on a vision and does not second guess it. The cohesion is what makes a reception feel intentional rather than assembled, and this one had it from every angle.

Jackson and Kelsi's wedding day moved through three distinct backdrops. The Brick Hall held both their ceremony and reception, cocktail hour spilled out onto the patio, and portraits took them just outside into Savannah's historic squares.

White florals and greenery kept the design simple, which meant the space itself got to carry a lot of the visual weight, brick, greenery, string lights, and Savannah light doing exactly what they do best.

There's a reason fall is the season wedding designers wait for. The light turns golden and low. Rich tones read as elegant instead of heavy. And couples finally have permission to lean into the moodier, more dramatic palette they've been saving all year, deep burgundies, warm ambers, and dramatic neutrals.

This is fall wedding season at its best, pulled from real days at @citizensballroom, @mainstreetballroom, and @savannahbottleworks. A black wedding gown against candlelight. Warm, textural florals that feel more like autumn foliage than a bouquet. Historic architecture that only gets better in low, golden light.
