Mauka I miss you. 15 and a half years wasn’t long enough. This has been a really hard week. I wish I could give you one last snuggle. I keep checking to see if you’re outside and then I remember. Scout misses you. She didn’t want to go to Kiva beach yesterday because that was your beach. I think Ty misses you even more than I do. Home feels empty without you. I saved some of your fluff, even though I know I will be finding it all over my home for years to come. You were the best fluffy buddy I could have ever asked for. $Moments before I stuffed my ski tips into the ground and penguin slid into the finish corral. Shortly after I realized there was something wrong with my shoulder. For the last month and a half, I’ve been telling myself it was just strained. Had an MRI last week and found out I not only had spiderweb fracturing of my tuberosity bone, but also tore my labrum and may be looking at shoulder surgery.
