We had such an incredible performance in the baths yesterday by the brilliant @brodiemccash

His talented performance with the marimba reverberated around the baths wonderfully - we’d like to thank him as well as all of the lovely audience members who came along 🏊🫧✨

How has it already been a week since our Summer market?! Thank you to all the lovely vendors and visitors - it was amazing getting to welcome you all into the baths once again!

Our Summer Fayre market was a total success! Thank you so much to all the folk who came out today for a visit and a shop as well as our lovely vendors

We had a great selection of local crafts, arts, jewellery, ceramics and more with vendors spread throughout the building . . . plus our own Bon Accord Baths fundraising merchandise for sale

An interesting Saturday at the Baths!

We were pleased to welcome @grampian_hospitals_art_trust for Waymakers: Poetry Inspired by the GHAT Collection this morning.

In the afternoon, we were delighted to host Professor Bruce Peter who gave an excellent talk and book signing for two of his most recent books: Art Deco Scotland: Design and Architecture in the Jazz Age and Modernist Scotland: 150 Postwar Buildings and Places.

We have two fantastic events on Saturday May 23rd!

At 10:30am, Grampian Hospitals Art Trust will be hosting Waymakers: Poetry Inspired by the GHAT Collection
With readings by Jo Gilbert, Mae Diansangu, Fiona Robertson, Shane Strachan, and Judith Taylor

And at 1pm, Professor Bruce Peter will be giving an illustrated talk and book signing for two of his most recent books: Art Deco Scotland: Design and Architecture in the Jazz Age and Modernist Scotland: 150 Postwar Buildings and Places.

Tickets for both events can be found at the links in our bio.

Both of these are small capacity events so we highly recommend securing your tickets to avoid disappointment!

AD Invite | Exclusive Preview

Nuart Aberdeen is an award-winning street art festival that transforms the city into a live, open-air gallery, and I got to take part in an exclusive preview tour ahead of this year’s event.

Returning 22–26 April 2026, this year’s theme “Poetry Is In The Streets” brings a fresh twist, with murals and installations centred around text and spoken word, turning everyday spaces into something really thought-provoking.

Some of the new works you’ll spot across the city include:
• Hicks (Summer St)
• Remi Rough (Bon Accord Centre / foot of George St)
• V2K ILT / SCT (Skene St – large scale poem wall)
• The Writing Is On The Wall (Little Belmont St)
• The Rebel Bear (Chapel St)
• Plus the headline installation by Robert Montgomery inside Bon Accord Baths – a must see

There are also new locations popping up at Alford Place and around Little Belmont Street, so it’s well worth taking the time to properly explore.

The best part as always is that t’s completely free. Grab a map, take a wander through the city and experience it for yourself. Every corner you turn, there’s something new to discover.
