@lauren_daigle recorded this song, "Trust in You" and we decided to sing it during praise and worship a few years ago. This is a small portion of us singing the song. Little did I know my life would put these words to the test, and I FAILED!!! I was angry with God, I felt abandoned and worthless. I felt like everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was a big fat lie.... I yelled at him, I told him "I dont trust you anymore because I prayed, I fasted, I did everything you told me to do and you did not answer me how I needed and when I needed " Y'all, I LOST IT!!!! Isn't life funny how in one season we're singing we'll trust and then comes the storm and all that singing went out the window...Similar to Peter who had expressed to Jesus that while everyone else would deny him, he boldly declared he would never deny Jesus only to do so a few hours later.... This was the first time in my 20+ years of serving God that I ever felt such pain. This storm was one that not only knocked me out spiritually, it affected me mentally, socially, and more!! I felt like I was dying!!!! But deep down inside, though, my words said I dont trust, deep down something said, "if you believed all things work together for the good of them who love the Lord then let it go..." I am still hurting y'all, still limping.... but I am choosing to trust. Even though I don't see the victory YET, I know it will come !!! He is El Roi!!! I will trust. How he allows the situation to unfold, I will trust. If he allowed it , he has a plan to use it... Make no mistake, this is not easy!!! Some days I am angry, some days I am in deep distress... but I am making up my mind, I am choosing to trust in the Lord. #victoryismine #trustintheLord #savednsingle #ElRoi by @saved.n.single

Thank you to everyone who has joined the Saved 'N Single community! ❤️ My desire is to see you all win in your relationships. Be it romantic or platonic. I will do my best to serve you well. I am not perfect. I am not without flaws. What I do have is a God who is loving, kind forgiving, and patient. I hope that as you journey with me, you'll gain a better relationship with him and with others. Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God! Psalm 42:5 Sometimes life just be life'n and it feels like we can't catch a break! We reflect on our decisions, and the thought jumps out, " You're such a screw up!". We continue to dwell on the thought, and it leads to " you can't ever do things right." If you've experienced those thoughts first, know you're not alone! Feelings of discouragement do happen. We may have made some wrong decisions. Nevertheless, we stand at a crossroads. We can't go back and undo them. While mourning them seems like the only viable option, there is still yet another. GET UP AND MOVE! Why should we let one or 5 mistakes stop us from moving forward? We can't undo the past. it's done! But we do have a hand in guiding the present! Make a decision and choose to push forward, making the best of whatever position we find ourselves at the moment. There is still hope because we have anchor that keeps the soul!
