After 32 years in law enforcement, Thad retired and found a new way to serve his community: driving a Mobile Medical Clinic.

But his job is about so much more than driving.

He welcomes women as they arrive, helps keep the clinic safe, and takes time to talk with the fathers who walk through the doors with them.

And sometimes, one conversation can change everything.

One father told Thad he arrived 90% abortion, 10% parenting...and left 90% parenting, 10% abortion.

That’s the power of meeting people where they are with compassion, hope, and support.

Today, on this National Day of Forgiveness, we pray for every woman who has had an abortion.

For the woman who regrets it.
For the woman who feels numb.
For the woman who has never told anyone.
For the woman who still thinks about the child she lost.

Lord, meet her in the places she doesn't talk about.
Remind her that she is not beyond Your forgiveness. That her past does not have the final word and shame does not have to define her story.

Give her courage to bring her pain into the light. Surround her with people who will listen without judgment and love her without condition.

Bring healing to the places that still hurt.

And Lord, help us as Your people to be a place where women know they can come with their stories and find compassion, truth, forgiveness, and hope. 🩵 by @savethestorks

Adoption is having your own child. Not biologically, but absolutely in the sense that matters most to a child: a family chose you.

Millie previously described adoption as something that had been on her heart for years.
