Only 106 drinking water contaminants are federally regulated—yet billions of pounds of chemicals enter our environment every year. In 2025 alone, Save the Water™ identified 3,000+ unregulated contaminants in our lab.

Still think you know what’s in your water? Think again.
These invisible pollutants threaten human health, ecosystems, and critical water sources like the Everglades, which provides water for 8 million people.

Our numbers tell a serious story—but your actions can change the ending.

📢 Stay informed.
📲 Share the facts.
💙 Become a Water Warrior and help protect clean water for all.

🌊Rivers are essential to communities, ecosystems, and the water we depend on every day.

World Rivers Day reminds us that protecting water goes far beyond the river we see. Pollution can move through connected water systems, affecting wildlife, public health, and drinking water.

💧That purpose closely aligns with Save the Water™. Through scientific research, water-quality monitoring, education, and practical solutions, we work to identify, understand, and address water contamination.

The Everglades Clean Drinking Water Initiative™ puts that mission into action through contaminant research, long-term monitoring, and the development of solutions to help protect this vital freshwater system.

🌱Healthy rivers mean healthier water systems, communities, and ecosystems.
