#RANKING the #AFI #RECORDS and favorite #JUNKFOOD || CAME GANG

this time the gang is talking about one of the bands they discovered around the high school years: affie . formed by gravy havok and the other dudes from affie that aren’t him.

. c . g .

no but srrsly, AFI (short for A Fire Inside) is a band from Ukiah, California, that formed in 1991 and since 1998, has consisted of vocalist: Davey Havok, drummer: Adam Carson, bassist, keyboardist: Hunter Burgan, (thought I was gonna say Biden), and guitarist: Jade Puget.

AFI originally started as hardcore punk band, they delved into many genres over the course of their career, starting with horror punk and following through post-hardcore and emo into alternative rock and gothic rock. First reaching substantial commercial success with their fifth album, The Art of Drowning (2000).

They then broke into the mainstream with their sixth, Sing the Sorrow (2003), which peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and remained on the chart for 51 weeks. Sing the Sorrow was certified Platinum by the RIAA in 2006 and is AFI’s best-selling release, having sold over 1.26 million copies as of September 2009. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AFI_(band)
