Every brick helps build a safe, loving place for senior dogs to land. 🐾

Saving Hope Senior Sanctuary will give older dogs a place to be cared for, loved, and—when needed—to stay for the long term.

Dogs build their entire world around their person. When that person is suddenly gone, they do not understand the finality of it. They only know they are waiting for a familiar voice that is never going to call their name again.

Yesterday, these five Corgis lost the only life they knew. Their breeder passed away, and the surviving family was completely overwhelmed. They made the responsible choice to surrender the dogs to us, but for these Corgis, the transition is completely overwhelming.

They arrived with absolutely no medical history. If you look at the two sweet faces peering over the seat in our transport vehicle, you can see the worry in their eyes. They are clinging to one another for comfort, unsure of where they are going or who they can trust.

Because we don’t know their entire history we have to start their healthcare completely from scratch.

To give them the soft landing they deserve, we need your help with two specific things today.
WE MUST to raise $2,000 to cover their veterinary care. That breaks down to exactly $400 per dog to cover their comprehensive exams, vaccinations, and the medical clearance they need to begin their new lives.

Rescue is about picking up the pieces when an animal’s world falls apart.

We are asking you to help us put those pieces back together for these five dogs. Whether you can cover a full $400 vet visit or give $25 toward their vaccines, your gift is the immediate first step in their healing process.

At just 11 weeks old, Big Red is already showing what a special little guy he is! This playful pup loves chasing balls, exploring the yard, and finding every little stick he can stop and chew on. 😂🌿

Big Red has done wonderful with young children and has been fostered alongside two older dogs. He absolutely admires his big dog buddies but is also happy entertaining himself, so he doesn’t need another dog to keep him company.

He’s almost completely house trained and does a great job going potty as soon as you bring him outside. He’s a smart boy who’s learning quickly and eager to please.

Big Red is such a good boy with a sweet personality, a playful spirit, and so much love to give. He’s going to make a fantastic addition to one very lucky family

🤎 Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce to you Tarzan!

Tarz was found all alone by a kind human. Thankfully, this little guy is now safe and getting the chance to grow, explore, and learn all kinds of new things! 🥹

So far, he’s mastered the litter box, figured out when it’s mealtime (a very important skill, of course! 😹).

Tarz is a little ball of energy, so he’d love a home with plenty of room to run, play, and show off his kitten zoomies! 🐾 He’s still learning how to get along with other cats, and we have a feeling he might love having a puppy friend, too, as long as they’re kitty friendly! 🐶💕

He is very uniquely colored! He has a little white patch on his chest and the top of his head is brown. He is vetted and has excellent litter manners.

Meet Liberty!

Liberty came to Saving Hope with her puppies from Dallas Animal Services around the Fourth of July after being picked up as a stray. As a very protective mama, she was understandably fearful of people and focused on keeping her babies safe.

With time, patience, and consistent care from staff she sees regularly, Liberty has slowly begun to trust the people around her. Her puppies have all grown up and found loving homes of their own, and now it's finally Liberty's turn to find a safe place to call her own.

Liberty needs a special foster or adopter who understands that trust takes time. She isn't the kind of girl who will immediately run up to a stranger looking for attention. She needs someone willing to give her space, respect her boundaries, and let her build confidence at her own pace. With patience and consistency, she deserves the chance to discover that the world can be a safe place, too.

Cat compatibility is unknown
Needs a patient, understanding home that will give her time and space to feel safe

Meet Georgia! ❤️🐾

Georgia is a sweet, well-mannered 5-month-old Pit Bull mix who is ready to find a family to help her grow into the confident, happy girl she’s meant to be!

This lovely pup is still learning the ropes of the big world around her, but she’s already making great progress. Georgia is crate-trained, leash-trained, and working hard on her potty-training routine. She typically goes outside every two hours and can hold it throughout the night! She also loves car rides, even if she sometimes needs a little boost getting into the car. 🚗🐶

Georgia is a sensitive girl who can be unsure of new experiences, so she’ll need a family willing to give her extra attention, patience, and gentle encouragement as she builds confidence. Meeting new people, making furry friends, and exploring public places may take some time, but with positive experiences and a loving family by her side, she has so much potential to blossom.

Georgia would do best with older children who can respect her space as she continues to gain confidence. She’s looking for a family that understands the importance of helping a young pup navigate the world at her own pace.

At just five months old, Georgia has so much love and life ahead of her. She may need a little extra reassurance right now, but the bond you build as she learns to trust and explore will be worth every moment.
