Some of the most disturbing 200 pages you’ll ever read 🙃 on surface level, Tender is the flesh by Agustina Bazterrica is disgusting, but when you start to understand the social commentary on institutionalized cruelty, euphemism, and how societal conditioning can normalize absolute atrocities, this book becomes 10000x scarier.

I mean it when i say this book is DEEPLY haunting to the very last page in a way that will stick with you for the rest of time. it is definitely NOT for the weak hearted my friends. i don’t recommend it but i gave it 4.5⭐️ any book that can get me feeling ANY emotion this intensely gets a high rating from me 🙂‍↕️

i have ~80 pages left of east of Eden and it will absolutely be making the ALL TIME list as well🙂‍↕️

it all started with Harry Potter when i was a kid fr 🙂‍↕️

Something about the idea of going to school/learning/training in MAGICAL ABILITIES just makes me nerd out more than anything else and that’s truly the root of my nerdiness. you bet your ass i was trying every day to awaken some sort of ability within myself for several years 😂
