september is suicide prevention month ❤️‍🩹
A huge part of my testimony is my battle with mental health issues and how God rescued me from things I thought would be permanent in my life. Since around the age of 11, I struggled deeply with anxiety, depression, and self harm. For over 10 years I lived a life completely separated from God and my mental health only got worse as I came into adulthood. I was broken, hopeless, and eventually attempted to take my own life. That day I had an encounter with God and He told me to leave everything behind and follow Him. He promised me radical change in my life and that’s exactly what He did.
Fast forward to after many therapy sessions, filled out journals, and a true relationship with Jesus, I’m living a life that I never thought possible for myself.

It is truly impossible for me to express through words alone how immensely loved you are. I may not know who you are or what your story is, but what I do know is that you were put on this earth with purpose. We live in a world which constantly tears us to pieces and makes us feel worthless, unloved, and like a burden. God wants to remind you that these voices are nothing but lies. You are deeply loved and valued ♥️ by @savysimpson
