I left a piece of my heart in Veracruz. 🇲🇽🇺🇸❤️

The culture, the music, the people, the food, and the unforgettable energy of the Jazz & Bolero Festival made this experience truly special.

A heartfelt thank you to Festival Director Xóchitl and the Governor for welcoming us and treating us like royalty throughout our time in Veracruz & Xalapa

It was an incredible honor to represent New Orleans as Jazz Ambassadors, entrusted by our family at the New Orleans Jazz Museum. Shoutout to Paul Stewart & Omar Rodriguez for bringing it down with me on keys and trumpets and Jorge Gamboa for joining us with his amazing talent on bass. Thank you to the amazing Tap dance team from Veracruz for adding that extra flow with us ⚜️🎶#nolamusicians #veracruzméxico

Here’s a small teaser from this unforgettable journey, beautifully captured by the fantastic video and audio production team. More music and full performance clips are coming soon!

Veracruz, gracias por tanto. Nos vemos pronto. 🇲🇽⚜️ taken in Veracruz. Mexico by @saxpaul20

🇺🇸➡️🇲🇽 Veracruz, México… we’re bringing that New Orleans fire! 🔥🎶

The New Orleans Jazz Museum Jazz Ambassadors are honored to represent the birthplace of jazz at the Festival de Jazz & Bolero 2026 in Veracruz, Mexico!

This lineup is going to be something special:
🎹 Paul Stewart on keyboards, bringing that unmistakable New Orleans funk.
🎺 Omar Ramirez delivering the soulful jazz sounds on trumpet.
🥁🎤 I’ll be holding it down on drums and vocals, bringing the groove from the Crescent City.
🎸 And joining us as our special guest, Jorge Gamboa on bass, adding that authentic raza mexicana flavor to the mix.

Get ready for a musical journey where New Orleans jazz, funk, soul, and Latin roots come together on one stage. We can’t wait to share this experience with the beautiful people of Veracruz.

¡Nos vemos en México! 🇲🇽❤️⚜️ #neworleansmusic #veracruz taken in Veracruz. Mexico by @saxpaul20

I honestly could not have asked for a more professional band which came together in less than a week as I kept dreaming of something extra that could be weaved into the experience! Somehow, all these incredible musicians could fit me and my antics into their schedules!

Thank you Jade (@edajnicole), an incredible vocalist, dealing with all of my vocal randomness 😅.
She and the rest of these MUSICAL ALL STARS took time out of their very busy, beautiful lives to do what they love most and share it with LIL' OL' ME on stage.

They let me lead with what I wanted to express, while I leaned on their immense musical talent & technical prowess. I have no Music theory and I just go with my ears and gut 🤣🤣🤣

Eternally grateful!

A raw, unedited sneak peek from last Wednesday’s High Bar at @stnoircafe.

What a night! One of those rooms where the music just locks in and you can feel something special brewing and I was happy to be selected as a participating artist.

Huge thank you to the team at St. Noir for creating this platform and nurturing such a beautiful cultural space. It’s so special to have a local institution grow right before our eyes.

And deep appreciation to this band of absolute all stars for bringing the magic.

So grateful to be part of it.
