Small clip from the jam the other night. I’m usually my own worst critic but I’m actually pretty excited about the sound of this and how my playing is developing and expanding. Also after going through some different equipment to find a setup I’m comfortable on I’ve felt great about this one I’ve landed on.
My @henriselmerparis MKVI, @jlwoodwinds neck, @bostonsax reeds and ligature and I got a great @daddariowoodwinds refaced select jazz piece that kills for a great price. #sax #saxophone #jazz #sax #jazzsaxophpne #tenorsaxophpne #saxsolo #solo #music #tenorsax #jazz #jazzmusic #redhead #bass #beam #piano #stage #curtains by @saxxyjeff

Had to go to @volkweinsmusic today for some work on my saxophone! @hollismusicrepair had a @vibratosaxophone! He got a kit and put the whole thing together! It’s made of a clear plastic and was actually pretty fun to play! Probably the lightest instrument I’ve ever held 😂 here’s my attempt at playing some stuff on it. Enjoy!

Also, I’m using a @daddariowoodwinds select jazz mouthpiece and @ishimoriwinds reeds

I will ALWAYS play impressions. Actually, I’m surprisingly not the one that called the tune! 😅 I hope you enjoy this snippet of my solo! I’m using a @henriselmerparis mark VI saxophone, @jlwoodwinds signature neck, i recently picked up an older @morganmouthpieces large chamber tenor piece, for a piece with a large chamber and a very subtle baffle, it can really project and get some nice edge without sacrificing complexity and fullness to the sound. Lastly I’m using the @bostonsax reeds and ligature.

A little bit from sitting in with @dannyrec and the Rectet a few weeks ago. Aggressive, intense and fun in the best ways possible.

Shoutout to my setup also, my @henriselmerparis Mark VI, @tedklummpc London precision 8** and my favorite reeds from @ishimoriwinds

A bit from the north side music festival! Thanks @aaronlewinter for the work and always letting me stretch things out a bit. More to come. Stay tuned!
Also I’m using my @henriselmerparis mark Vi, and @ishimoriwinds reeds. The effects are @tcelectronic flashback and hall of fame.

Here’s a transcription of @bob_reynolds playing an absolutely burning solo over Just Friends. Im not playing at 100% volume (apartment living) so it’s not the biggest sound but still not bad. His latest record “Eddie Told Me So” is killer, do yourself a favor and check it out! Enjoy!!!

From our final gig at the Parkhouse! It was a fun residency but time for bigger and better things. We’ll be playing for @thepublicpgh tonight (3/30) from 5-7 in the O’Riley theatre lobby. No cover, all music! Stop by and say Hi!

I’m playing my @henriselmerparis Mark VI, a @jlwoodwinds artist edition neck, and using @ishimoriwinds reeds. The autowah is coming from an @ehx micro Q-Tron (still dialing in the sound)

Playing a bit of alto over George Bensons “Down Here on the Ground” I have a bit of auto wah on the sound, but it’s a bit difficult to here in this. Either way, enjoy!

I’m using a @henriselmerparis Mark VI alto, @daddariowoodwinds select jazz mouthpiece and reeds and a @silversteinworks ligature
