AHA stands for alpha hydroxy acid, a group of acids found naturally in fruit, milk and sugar cane.

On the skin, they work by loosening the bonds that hold dead cells to the surface. Those cells lift away on their own, without scrubbing, and the fresher skin underneath can finally come through. That’s where the brightness comes from.
