I had the pleasure of accompanying my beautiful Sis, @pumlamolope , one of the Vista Club Ambassadors, and exploring this newly built private members’ club, a remarkable space centred around movement, recovery, nourishment and connection.

From vision to reality.

Last week, we had the absolute honour of curating the AWCA Women of Substance Gala 2026 an evening celebrating excellence, leadership, legacy and the incredible African women who continue to pave the way.

This journey began more than a year ago. From our first conversations with the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff, to developing the concept, negotiating the venue, curating the look and feel, shaping the guest experience, securing talent, entertainment, partnerships and sponsorships. Every element was thoughtfully considered.

This is what we do at Luxury Palate Group.

We take an idea and build an entire experience around it.

Ideation. Concept. Creative direction. Partnerships. Talent. Hospitality. Production. Execution.

Being entrusted to bring such an important celebration to life was incredibly special.

A heartfelt thank you to @awca_sa its leadership and the incredible women of the organisation for trusting me with this vision.

From an idea… to an experience.

Seeing the AWCA Woman of Substance 2026 come to life at the Four Seasons Hotel The Westcliff was incredibly special for me, because I know just how much went into creating this moment.

My journey with this event started more than a year ago.

From the very first conversations with the Four Seasons about bringing our vision to their beautiful property, to conceptualising what I wanted our guests to see, feel and experience from the moment they arrived.

I worked on every layer of the experience, securing and negotiating our venue, curating the look and feel, shaping the guest journey, negotiating and securing our MC and entertainment, bringing in our harpist, working with our production partners, and finding brands that understood the vision and wanted to be part of it.

I approached and secured new partnerships and sponsorships, negotiated deliverables, managed countless suppliers and stakeholders, and spent months bringing all the moving pieces together.

And then there are the details people don’t always see the emails, calls, meetings, negotiations, changes, problem-solving, budgets, timelines, approvals and those last-minute decisions that ultimately make an experience feel effortless.

This is what I love about what I do through Luxury Palate Group.

I don’t simply plan events.

I take an idea and build an entire world around it.

Ideation. Concept. Creative direction. Partnerships. Talent. Hospitality. Production. Execution.

From the first conversation to the moment the doors open and the first guest walks in, I am invested in every detail.

On Thursday evening, I stood back for a moment and watched the room come alive. Something that had lived in my head, on paper, in emails and in countless conversations for more than a year was finally real.
