Went to see our new puppy yesterday (will save her name as a surprise), and @danielle_mcginn33 got jumped! 😂❤️ T-minus 2 weeks until she joins her brothers and sister! 🐾 🐾

For the record, our friend’s dog had a litter of puppies and is now going to be spayed. They aren’t “evil breeders,” bad people, etc. We have always adopted almost exclusively in the past and this dog wasn’t purchased from a breeder either. Please try and enjoy the video for what it is - cute. Just please don’t choose this post to make incorrect *assumptions* about us or the background story of the video ❤️

Last year I almost 💀. I will never forget waking up in the hospital after waking up and the doctor saying, “you are a very lucky man Mr. McGinn.”

I decided at that point in time it was time to get my life together. Since college I have always wanted to compete in a bodybuilding show, but I don’t think I can pull off the mankini so I decided to go for Men’s Physique.
•
Anyone that knows me knows that I never do things half ass. All in or nothing. 😂
•
Thank you to my coach @jballer32, who has dealt with me over the past 11 months or so. I like to ask a lot of dumb questions that I usually know the answer to, and he took them all in stride. Although occasionally he would say, “you know the answer to that” 😂 which is what I needed.
•
Thank you to the best posing coach in the biz @grassfedfitness. If you want to learn how to pose, use him. Period.
•
Thank you more than anything to my amazing wife @danielle_mcginn33. She has cooked approximately 163 meals that I haven’t eaten in the past year. She has been through A LOT lately and has supported me no matter what. I love you babe ❤️

Now to eat everything that isn’t moving this weekend 😎😂 Back at it Monday. First thing I ate post show was a @mcdprotein 🍪🤤

The Air Force 1 debuted in 1982 as a basketball shoe and quickly became a street staple. Nike SB left it untouched until now. This version keeps the classic look but adds a lower midsole, better board feel, heel Air, reinforced construction, a wider toe box, and a full suede upper built for skating.

Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Som Tum” pulls from Thailand’s iconic green papaya salad. Woven panels nod to kratip rice baskets, with earthy suede and textured uppers inspired by shredded papaya. Orange hits bring the heat, while the heel features Thai patterns with Nike written in Thai script.

Under the tongue, graphics show Som Tum and sticky rice. Insoles carry rice bag details, with a hidden lotus on the Zoom Air.

Health update:

Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes as a result of Danielle’s post yesterday! I am slowly getting to a point of not being so out of it, so thought i would share

What happened:

Around May of this year I had a couple spots show up on my tongue and throat I thought would heal. They didn’t and got worse. At my 3rd doctor (oral surgeon) they decided I needed a tongue biopsy. It was obvious they thought I had cancer. Luckily, it was *not* cancer but it continued to get bigger and additional spots showed up on my throat.

All this would be fine but after around 30 days I started having referred pain all on the left side of my head. Left ear, left jaw, left teeth, left part of throat, row and floor of my mouth. We are talking like 8-9/10 pain level when it was bad and 5-6/10 70% of every day easily. I was unable to sleep at night almost at all. And this has been going on for MONTHS. No sleep at night, constant pain

It made no sense why I was hurting in these areas we would later find out it was nerve pain. It is very weird when you hurt somewhere than you think you should. Do not reccomend.

My surgery on Tuesday was removing a portion of my tongue to remove the lesion as well as the spots on my throat. That required general anesthesia thank God. In surgery they also discovered that I have A Fib and according to Danielle I have them a nice scare. So we are addressing that now as well.

Summary:

I am now just healing and praying that this will make the pain go away. So far it seems like it has been working! It’s going to be a few days until I can speak normal and a few weeks before I can eat normal. But ready to get back in the gym! by @sb_addicts
