CAMP CHI CHI✨was everything this camp girl needed and more. thank you for taking us on an adventure where the only time anyone cried was from belly laughs. @kaycieyalater you’re a dream and it feels surreal to have watched you grow up the last 15 years. love you so much, let’s get you married!! by @sberezowsky

proof that that comeback really is greater than the setback by @sberezowsky

My dad has kept me laughing from the moment I was born but especially while in the hospital. He understood the assignment. He did everything in his power to keep me entertained and help the time pass. This includes falling straight out of a plastic chair he had to sleep in one night in my first step down unit as we were trying to go to sleep. It’s the first time I remember belly laughing after I woke up. He went and bought a magazine one night and read me every single word because I didn’t even have enough strength in my arms to turn the page. He answered all my questions to explain what happened as I came to terms with what I went through. He refused to let me give up when it was the only thing I wanted to do. It makes perfect sense that he slightly roasted me and it was perfectly done. I love you so much dad, thank you for everything and happy early Father’s Day! by @sberezowsky

35 and alive🔥the past 6 months have been the biggest whirlwind and I literally wouldn’t be here without my support system. Thank you to my parents for all they’ve done and continue to do for me, my siblings for the encouragement and the tough love, and my friends. My OWLS planned the best party to celebrate me just being alive and having a birthday I almost didn’t have. There are so many more people not pictured who have been on the ride with me. They’ve celebrated my biggest and smallest wins with me and my family. They’ve kept me laughing which really is the best medicine and have also kept me humble when needed🫡. I’ve been told numerous times by different doctors that so many other people couldn’t do what I’m doing. They would’ve been stuck in the circumstance because getting better would seem too big of a task and while I’ve been incredibly dedicated to my healing, the credit goes to my support system. I’ll never have enough words to express my gratitude to those who deserve every ounce of it but I’ll forever be thanking the people who helped me not only survive, but make sure I’m living every single day to the best of my ability. So far my second life has been one for the books and I can’t wait to see what this year has in store for me🎊🫶🏻 by @sberezowsky

happy mothers day to the best mama. this year is different because of all you’ve done for me the past 6 months. you stopped your life when I was sick. you spent every other night in the hospital with me where I kept you up all hours because if I wasn’t sleeping, nobody was sleeping (sorry again). then when I was in rehab you came every day after working all day to spend time with me bc I wanted to say goodnight to you every day. you answered my middle of the night phone calls (some due to ambien so not my fault). then you (and mark) gave up your bedroom for 3 months so I could get better. I’ll never be able to thank you or repay you for everything you’ve done for me but I hope I make you proud for the rest of my second life💐 love you so much mommy🤍🤍 grateful is an understatement🫶🏻 by @sberezowsky

my favorite graduation to date, and the one i’ve worked the hardest for. outpatient rehab is DONE. 10 weeks of hard work has paid off. i’m ready to be sent off into the world to continue getting stronger. i have had the best therapists i could’ve asked for and truly would not have gotten through the past 4 months without them. thankful for my friends for their support. extra thankful for my dad who picked me up and drove me to rehab 3 days a week (or more if i had other appointments) for two months and then take me out to lunch every single time with no complaints. also thankful for my mom who let me live in her house and take her master bedroom away from her. i get to move back to my apartment tomorrow and get more of my life back and i’m so grateful and excited. the best is yet to come🎓🎊✨ by @sberezowsky

An 18 year reunion in the making! 18 years ago I went to Europe and Israel for 6 weeks with my best camp friends on Garin Greene through NFTY. It was a transformative and magical trip for so many reasons but our counselors were the ones who created that magic for us. Elana sang hashkiveinu to us every night and getting to hear her sing again tonight was good for the soul and brought back the best memories✨💫 #campfriendsarethebestfriends by @sberezowsky
