Back when I was just starting One Piece, I asked some of my friends which character would suit me to cosplay- and a few of them said Perona :D I didn’t know who she was and I bought the materials for her early on (only to cosplay Zoro first lol) I’m super glad I ended up making her entire cosplay from scratch or thrifted it basically 😎 It’s a cosplay I’m really proud of since I wanted to challenge myself

AHAHAHA I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!! I’ve spent a lot of time on this cosplay (even tho it looks relatively simple) by just making things from scratch like my hat and coat. O and also upgrading my sword! I think I spent over 40 hours just to make things look clean 🤧 I’m v proud of it since I think making them from by hand elevated the cosplay since I can adjust how I want it (the hat doesn’t look like a mushroom on me, I made sure of that 😄) (or how the coat is SUEDE, something I wanted to match in the fuzzy texture of figures I saw) One of the things I love is how the coat flows like a cape in the wind, which we made sure to get photos of 🫶

My Gunko cosplay photos and videos can finally let be out of the basement now that Gunko’s animated! 🥳I spent under 2 months crunching her cosplay when her colors got released back in October so I could have her for January 🤧 I’m super excited see her and the other Holy Knights once they show up in Elbaph 😌
