2025 was the warm up! There were a lot of great moments and a lot of no so great moments this year! In January I said let me become the student again and I opened my own ebooks that many of my students saw so much success with! I repositioned my content and saw a drastic increase in engagement my community grew and I started getting deals again. My best months were definitely Q3 & Q4 for sure but I plan on really taking it ten steps further in 2026! Every day month and quarter wonā€™t be the same but if you lock in I promise you it will be worth it! I working on so even better strategies for 2026 so the tools I used this year to see this level of success will no longer exist! ANOTHER BRAND DEAL BREAK DOWN 800 dollars for a video that took me 20 mins and some screen recording yes please! This was an outbound I sent out and they were on board! Although it was slightly under my rate I accepted due to how easy the scope of work was. Tech and apps are such an underrated market and fairly easy to create. All you need is existing BRoll and screen record yourself using their service or software! I can definitely expand further on how to get into this niche! If you havenā€™t been retaining length with your protective styles itā€™s probably your wash day steps! First off letā€™s give a hand clap to @amika cuz their products are bomb and using a system that nourishes your hair after weeks of being put up is the first step! Your hair is super fragile and prone to breakage so you want to take your time detangle and get all the shed hair and product buildup loose before shampooing. I go in with a mask first and let it sit with our without heat before getting in the shower. Shampoo twice the first wash is to lift everything so itā€™s probably not gonna lather and thatā€™s normal. Second wash when you see that lather you know your hair is clean. The condition in sections and by then you hair should be like butter! Go in with your oils to seal everything and on to the next style! I like to trim after every second style I out in! $1750 for only a IG storyā€¦. YES PLEASE So back with another campaign breakdown and today we are doing a wellness story post! Full disclosure this is the highest Iā€™ve been paid for a story ONLY brand deal. So definitely raised my prices after this hehe! But when it comes to concepts I like to stay true to my real life and what my audience already knows me for so I pitched being a busy content creator trying to avoid the mid day crash of a work day. LETS FILM FOR A HAIR BRAND You guys said yall want to see how the brand deals bts goes from the emails, negotiations, rates, concepts and filming so I thought since we were talking about mid term deals last week we start with this recent campaign! They wanted one 15 sec in feed video that was laid out to a tea which made this video super easy to film. It took me about 30 mins honestly. They approved my concept and didnā€™t have any revisions once I submitted which is a plus! Even if a brand provides a shot list and brief you still can be original and play around with different shot angles!
