Today we say goodbye to not just a house, but a home. An empty former rental home we breathed life into for our short time within. A place we went from a young couple to a family of four in. We brought home babies here, came home to this empty house with our baby in the nicu, and mourned angels we will never get to meet. Our first dog, Baxter, lived out his final days in these walls. Zoey spent her first 6 years running laps in the backyard, and our sweet once-stray Shadow found us here. Harvey continued to thrive through the chaos and new additions with long naps in the sun on the dining room floor. Celebrations were had - birthday parties, celebratory steak dinners, gatherings with friends, sleepovers with Aunt Annie, pool parties, Christmas mornings with Santa, job offers and promotions. Layoffs were mentally and emotionally accepted, careers mourned, finances were stretched. Our marriage was built here. Tried, tested, and built again. This home has held our life. Every perfect, beautiful, painful, shocking, and priceless moment was within these walls, this yard, and Brandon’s flower gardens. Soon we will be in a new home, but this one will never leave our hearts. Thank you for the memories. Goodbye N Charles. 🔐 ❤️ by @sblox_
