Shar “S.Bothé” Michelle (Acoustic Swag Artist) Louise Bourgeois “ A work of Art doesn’t have to be explained, if it doesn’t touch you, then I have failed!” As a descendant of African American slaves who have lost their culture. “My engagement with the canvas is as fluid as the ships on the seas my people were bought over on.” ~S.Bothé Using 24k pure gold plus copper and liquid silver textiles, to a hand being guided by God, her work is painfully rich! No fancy art school, International fashion model S.Bothé is self taught! A juxtaposition to the extraordinary pain and constant suffering in a broken marriage, she started studying the Bible eagerly over the past 7 years. Not for religion, but to build a foundational relationship with Christ during her present suffering. Now Evangelist and Born Again follower of Christ Jesus; the collection has been inspired biblically by Isaiah 60. This chapter spoke to my eyes, ears, spirit and soul! The wealth of the seas has been converted to canvas. These works were established somewhere between 2000-2025 after a exciting University T&F career. Born in Santa Barbara to a single mom and finding an escape by skateboarding the coast of Southern California. Chaotic Effortless Excellence is her approach to life genuinely. She uses anything she can get her hands on to paint. The canvases turn personal pain into extravagant luxuries. “The beauty of my art is its inherent imperfection: my lines will never be perfect, nor do they aim to be. Murals are the wave! I find that digitals of my work is now being not only sought after but curated more and more. NFT formats are my #1 requested, but you gotta wheel and deal appropriately, because there are a LOT of time wasting fishing. What have I learned since releasing my vaulted artwork formally to the public in 2025? Art isn’t exactly a necessity, it is a desire, a want and incandescent need, it’s what you just can’t stop thinking about. It’s weighty and important in the long run. Art is truly one of the greatest investments one can make. It’s an insured heirloom that can create atmosphere for years to come. More recently, I have been drawn towards creating small-large scale murals. Pieces specifically made to weather the storms and to give the commissioner’s the wheel of creative direction to the extent of colour scheme and placement. Indoor/Outdoor weather resistant premium acrylics. Whatever the client needs, I aim to secure it. It’s smart to own the S.Bothé originals for a lifetime value! I paint for the mundane not to be so mundane. Truly. The thing I appreciate the most about the style of which I have chosen to distribute my work, is that I decided early on not to mass print. 3 signed Giclée prints ONLY, anywhere, never more.
